Or maybe I should have said "How effective is your blog?" If you personally haven't set up your own blog yet, you are in luck. By following a few simple guidelines you can set up a blog that isn't just a collection of stuff you write, it will be a targeted, focused, functioning part of your marketing strategy. If you've already got a blog up and running, you are contributing to it, but well maybe you're not writing as frequently as you should as you're not seeing a lot of results - it's not too late. It's easy enough to sort through what you want to keep, organize it, add some of the key elements listed below and you will be in a much better position to make that blog rock. Before you do anything, ask and answer the following questions: * What does your business vision look like? * Where will your customers/clients come from? * How are you going to earn money from them? * Is your vision flexible enough to accommodate change or a large growth? * How are you building a strong foundation for that business? Having a clear cut answer to those questions puts you in the potential top category of income earners. Is that where you want to be? If so, let's get started. Hit the hot buttons in your heading. What are hot buttons? People want something that is going to make their life easier! People want things/ideas/tips that are going to allow them to put the pieces of the puzzle together quicker. Tip: Go to a network marketing forum. Scroll around, read the questions people are asking, get a sense of what seems to be a challenge or there is a lack of understanding and address it in your blog, comment in the forums and direct them back to your blog post. i.e. Everybody is telling people they need to be on Twitter but they get there and all they read is what people are eating for lunch. Totally confusing to the newest or average network marketer. Possible heading on your blog: Twitter is more than what you had for lunch. It's powerful if you use it right. Catch your readers immediately. In the first paragraph of your blog let them know you can answer their questions. Let them know they've found the right place at the right time and the answers are here. Give them a reason to hang around on your blog with rich content, informative videos, value! Tell

stories so people can relate better to what you are sharing with them. People learn in different ways so don't hesitate to use your video to tell the story which will make what they are reading more real and alive. Give GOOD content, value driven! Make your close strong and invite them to take some sort of action. Download a free ebook, offer a free coaching session if they click on this button. Don't hesitate to repeat the benefits they will experience by taking that action. Ask them again to Click or Submit or Download! Now what are they going to get if they click on that button? That's a BIG question. What do you know? Make a list of all the things you know how to do? Physically make that list. Go ahead - I'll wait. You'll be surprised at what you know that others would love to. Write an article about one of them or write 4 or 5 articles on a similar topic and compile it into a report. Then offer that for free. What can you turn into a downloaded product? Think about it! Can you earn money from an affiliate link to others' downloadable products? Think outside the box and you'll be surprised what an expert you are. You already have knowledge that others would pay for. Go forth, have fun, earn some money and we'll see you at the top!
