PureAir PureAir is a dehumidifier I created with the aim of making a product that is placed in a room to help solve a problem, into a product that can be placed in a room with pride. PureAir has been designed to be minimalistic and natural. The device features simplistic touch sensitive buttons for the controls and can easily be separated to empty the tank

AMX-03 AMX-03 is a ‘blade-less’ drone that utilises air multiplier technology. This innovative technology allows for a much safer experience with less maintenance needed as there are no props. Air is drawn in by an impeller in the base of the rings and then directed up and out of a slit around the ring before passing over a shape like that of an aircraft wing- Coanda effect

Opnari is the result of a redesign task. I chose a bottle opener due to the mundanity and simplicity of it and aimed to make it more an elaborate, desirable product

Hydrain came about after sitting inside watching vast quantities of water fall from my gutter and I thought that the gravitational potential energy of the water could easily be utilised to generate power. Hydrain is a waste energy recovery unit that can be easily installed in drain pipes and can power outside lights or other small outdoor appliances

Solas Solas is a sensory light designed to calm and relax autistic children before they start a new activity and before bedtime. Solas is designed for disassembly. This project focussed heavily on PCB integration and developed my understanding of how to design internals of products to incorporate components

Hotspot Hotspot is a wildfire data collector that can alert, detect and eventually lead to the evacuation of those in areas that are prone to wildfires. The data collected from the on-board smoke and humidity sensors can then be used to predict the path of the fire, allowing residents who are in the path of travel time to evacuate

Multiple Hotspots will be placed on trees around the forest and the data they pick up is relayed back to the app which the park ranger will use who can then alert local authorities

Kodu Kodu is a vibration speaker meaning that it utilises the surface it’s on to duplicate the sound waves over and over through the surface giving a fuller, richer audio experience. Most portable speakers lack this full, rich sound and Kodu is the solution to this as it turns any surface into a speaker.
