It helps us reach our full potential as a tourism destination. It helps us achieve growth in visitor revenue and volume. It helps us achieve our goal of being the most highly recommended Destination in Kenya.

The Nyamira Signature

Our logos and their usage The Visit Nyamira logo is used to identify the Nyamira County Government’s official destination marketing authority. This logo is available in two configurations (stacked and landscape) and four variations according to different communication objectives. All Nyamira logos are available in full colour and one colour in the two configurations.

Logo Composition

Logotype: “Nyamira”

Colour

The rustic calligraphy represents the rugged nature of Nyamira county. The Keyline (Slogan) makes use of a slab “ITC Lubalin” that complements the overall signature .

The color scheme is a combination shades of green to symbolize natural experiences to be had in Nyamira. The shades of green help create an organic feel creating a strong and versatile signature.

Logotype: “M”

Tagline “it’s up there!”

“M” has been sylised to form two overlaping hills. Hills and valleys are a ubiquitous feature across the county. Hence a great representation of Nyamira County.

Simply stated to show the geographical, socio-economic, and cultural position of Nyamira County.

The Logo

The full colour logo should be used against white backgrounds only. A keyline version has been created for use on background content.

The mono version of the logo comes in two versions for each variation; Mono (black) and Mono reverse (white).

Positive Logo

Should be without taglines.

Negative Logo

Should be used when you have a solid colour background and its reproduction methods are restricted to one or two colours.

Logo Icon should be used in Mobile Apps, Social media Profile and websites. that require a square logo for example Twitter, Facebook and Instagram

Main Typeface Typography is a strong extension of our Brand’s personality and plays a major role in creating a consistent look for Visit Nyamira across all communications and promotional materials.

Advent Pro Advent Pro has been selected for its versatility and legibility for large amounts of body copy. It offers many weights and styles which provide a large amount of design flexibility for all graphic communications.

Special font Dead Island

The handwritten typeface, Dead Island is rustic,, modern and informal in style. Complementing the rugged style of Visit Nyamira.. It should be used sparingly to enhance the personality of the visual identity.

The purpose of using Dead Island is to provide individuality and character to headlines in advertising and other applications. (USED SPARINGLY) MUST NOT be used for any text, other than headlines or pull out quotes
