Alex Gomes

Electronic Engineer, Master in Cognitive Psychology by UFPE and Doctor in Education by Université de Paris v (René Descartes, 1999). He works on Interaction Design applied to the creation of innovative technologies to enhance learning. Between the years 2001 and 2009 he coordinated 5 research projects and integrated the design team in more then den projects. The Amadeus LMS and the Redu Social Network are the most prominent. The Amadeus is distributed by the Brazilian Planning Ministry. The Redu Social Network originated a star up now incubated in Porto Digital. He published more than 100 papers in specialized periodicals and in conference proceedings. He advised or co-advised more than 20 master’s dissertations and PhD theses.
