Brief 3.Science & Technology Publication. Live, Skill & Interest driven Brief Develop a series of publication on New Scientist’s the top 5 discoveries from each decade since it was founded in 1958. These publications are run alongside the celebration of 55 years in print.
Background / Considerations These publication will be visually communicate the top discoveries. Combining creative and engaging type and Image determined by the research for the content to communicate the context. Overall the publications will showcase and inform the audience about New scientist 55 years in print and the top 25 discoveries since the publication was founded. The publications will be split by the decade. [1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000} This is research driven brief to collate the top discoveries. The top discoveries are to be researched and define by the amount of impact they had on the everyday man in society. The target audience is the reader following for new scientist. The content of the publications will be driven by you the designer, on relating to the concept and the audience.

- A series of 2 different sized publications to come as - 5 24 page publications. a set to purchase as a product to sell. - 2 smaller 3-5 page booklet - Design for New Scientist specified audience - Limited Posters, Postcards. - Prototypes. - Research & documentation. - Portfolio Boards.
