Model Making Skills And Process


Vespi Smart Pot For this project, we are required to design a product which work for indoor and outdoor gardening in agricultural ďŹ eld.

Objective The purpose of design the smart pot is to provide clean air to serrounding by purifiering technologies and at the same time the plant can watering itself. The target location of Vispi Smart Pot is at indoorwhich is the included study room, kitchen, bedroom, living room and office, but almost will be using or place it on the table which is the working place and study place table. In this contrast, user can refresh themselves by see and smell the plant and the fresh air which is produce by the purifying system.

Concept

Vespi Smart Pot Vespi smart pot is an indoor air purifier pot using living plants indoor air canbe more seriously polluted than the outdoor. Research has demostrated that certain plants are highly effiect natural air purifiers. Green Air employr those plants,which absorb contaminants from the air through the leaves and roots. It has a fan topullair to that area, so that larger amount of contaminants can be purified in a shorter time which is humidifier the air of the office.This pot improves the air-purifying capacity of air clean plants and has the air-humidifying function itself.


Ideation And Sketches

The design of Vespi Smart Pot is inspired from bee hive which associated with the shape and the line of the hive. This because it have cute and style characteristic. So this will make my product more fascinate.

Evoque This is a group project which requires us to design a chair be related to the natural elemenst and also present the characteristics of the brand of car we choosed

Objective In this project, we have selected Land Rover Evoque as our brand of the chair design. We got inspiration for our chair by using the characteristics for the car which is the body shape and styling of the car and combine with the natural element which is horn of the rhinoceros beetle to make the chair have the natural element and at the same time show the characteristics of the brand. The design is based on the combination of the chosen Land Rover Evoque and rhinoceros beetle natural form. The design concept criteria can presented from the characteristics by this two inspiration.

Concept

Evoque Evoque is ďŹ ne and beautiful, minimalist design with a complex and nature touch. Complete with a arttiďŹ cal grass carpet to lift up the nature feeling. The all of the body form is inspired from the body shape of the horn of the beetle because it gives durability and aesthetics value for the design. The front bumper of the car applied on front of the chair to build up the style of the chair. Hexagon shape armrest is uesd as the armrest and also act as support for the main chair body. Pine woods are use in this furniture, the gain of wood can show the naturalistics of chair.


Ideation And Sketches

The design of the limited edition chair, i choose rhinocerous beetles because the shape is very unique and during the design development the natural bionic element give idea on problem solving, function, concept, shape, form and attract the vision and view from the users and also shows the styling and characteristic of the natural form.

Design SpeciďŹ cations Material: Pine wood, Arttifical grass carpet, Metal Frame Pine wood is chosen as the material because of its gain of the wood can show the naturalistics of chair and the original colour of the wood is strength when using wax to do finishing.Arttifical grass carpet lift up as present natural feel.
