ASSIGNMENT 1 DRAGON FLY_DREAM_BOX
The objective of this assignment was to create a gift-box comprising Voronoi lattice panels using a single sheet of 24”x18” sheet of chip board. Then to fold that chip board into the shpe of the box.
ASSIGNMENT 1 DRAGONFLY_DREAM_BOX
ASSIGNMENT 2 TWINKLE_TWINKLE_LITTLE_INSTAR
The objective of this assignment was to take my Dragon Fly Dream Box and create a thin shelled complex surface generated from curves in Rhino and/or Grasshopper, to fit into my Dragonfly Dream Box, filling it.
ASSIGNMENT 2 TWINKLE_TWINKLE_LITTLE_INSTAR
ASSIGNMENT 2 PART B TWINKLE_TWINKLE_LITTLE_INSTAR
The objective of this assignment was to take my Dragon Fly Dream Box and create a thin shelled complex surface generated from curves in Rhino and/or Grasshopper, to fit into my Dragonfly Dream Box, filling it.
ASSIGNMENT 2 TWINKLE_TWINKLE_LITTLE_INSTAR
ASSIGNMENT 3 PART A CURTAINS_4_U_BUGEYES
The main objective for this assigment was to create an inverted catenary surface comprising developable strips laser cut from paper, with etched labels, and tabs, glued together.
ASSIGNMENT 3 CURTAINS_4_U_BUGEYES PART_A
ASSIGNMENT 3 PART B CURTAINS_4_U_BUGEYES
The main objective for this assigment was to create an Inverted catenary surface cut from chip board comprising joined planar hexagons with variable apertures, glued together along seams.
ASSIGNMENT 3 CURTAINS_4_U_BUGEYES PART_B
ASSIGNMENT 4 A_BLOB_OF_ONES_OWN
The main objective of this assignment was to design a surface geometry in Rhino+Grasshopper as either a horizontal or vertical volume from a single continuous, double-curvature surface. Then with this surface as the defining geometry, I had to use Paneling Tools in Rhino+Grasshopper to model an occupiable space defined by an integrated enclosure system (surface+structure), which is supported by a continuous 3D printed footing, set into a CNC milled site model made out of MDF.
