Top 10 New Music Videos of 2015 Weezer: “Thank God for the Girls” Here, the members of Weezer play dishonest clergymen who work for the church by day and hit up strip clubs and illegal gambling operations by night. Front man Rivers Cuomo might be the most amoral of them all, though. As an enthusiastic white-haired pastor, he tricks parishioners into giving him money left and right.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra: “Necessary Evil” Echoing their own brand of psychedelic rock, the Sean Solomon-directed clip is a trippy watch. Despite the pastel colors and seemingly simple illustrations, it’s a powerful narrative, as it tells the story of how a perfect relationship can be destroyed by insecurities and over thinking.

Puscifer: “The Remedy” Co-directed by the band and Adam Rothlein, known for his work on A Perfect Circle Live and what Puscifer is, the New Music video is about a retired luchalibre wrestler who longs for his glory days. The clip is spliced with shadowy footage of Maynard James Keenan and the rest of the Puscifer gang performing inside a wrestling ring.

Polica: “Lime Light” Dual drummers Drew Christopher son and Ben Ivascu keep a hypnotic, metronome beat while squeaking synths send the track floating just above reality. The video echoes the aforementioned sentiment, with abstract colors racing across the screen while a noir shaded woman sings the track.

Deep Vally: “Royal Jelly” As a preview of the sophomore LP, DeapVally’s unveiled “Royal Jelly”, a slow burning jam outfitted with a searing chorus. Check it out below via its accompanying Jess Holzworth-directed music video, which stars Mick Jagger’s daughter Georgia Jagger and features a cameo from Zinner.

Missy Eliot: “WTF” It’s hard to believe Missy’s still got the music video game on lock, pushing the medium forward, but here she is nearly two decades after she first rose to prominence and she hasn’t missed a beat. Check out the Missy and Dave Meyersdirected video for “WTF (Where They From)”.

Dr. Dog: “Badvertise” The indie rockers, who’ve played only handfulof gigs this year, teamed up with the Philadelphia’s Pig Iron Theatre Company in September, creating their new concert-concept. The psychedelic, driving “Badvertise” is one of the pieces from that show, and its clip plays out like a brain-melting ’80s infomercial.

Adele: “When We Were Young” Adele recently appeared on 60 Minutes Australia to discuss her forthcoming album, 25, due out this Friday, November 20th. During the segment, she performed a new song called “When We Were Young”, which she’d co-written with singersongwriter/piano man Tobias Jesso Jr.

Elton John: “Looking Up” Elton John released the first music video for his song “Looking Up” off the singing legend’s forthcoming album “Wonderful Crazy Night”. The animated video, has John’s animated countenance behind flurries of ever changing shapes and colors moving through the video.

Big Grams: “Fell In the Sun” Of the collaboration album between Phantogram and Big Boi, “Fell In the Sun” features splits between the two artists and holographic explosions. Obscured images follow Phantogram and Big Boi as they go through the video blurring the images amplifying the “Fell In the Sun” tag line.
