IDRALSYNT
IDRALSYNT places technology at the service of hygiene. A built-in infrared sensor in the IDRALSYNT range allows to start the water flow without touching any part of the product. The infrared rays on the sensor detect the user from a distance to be set at the time of installation. The sensor then activates a solenoid valve which, in turn, starts the water flow. This can be cold or warm, mixed or pre-mixed at a chosen temperature. Water continues to flow until the user remains within the sensor’s detection range. As soon as he/she moves out, the solenoid valve stops the water flow to prevent water wastage. The IDRALSYNT range meets the requirements of hygiene regulations requesting that sanitary systems installed in public toilets and facilities work with no contact on the part of the user. In addition, all products in the range are fitted with vandal-resistant/automatic-shut off system.

The roots of the Zacchera family’s hospitality tradition go far back in time. All the way back to 1873, to be precise, when Francesco Zacchera opened the Osteria Milanese, which was later converted into the Locanda Italia and eventually into the elegant Hotel Splendid. The Hotel Splendid is the only hotel in the area which looks directly onto the lake and has its own private jetty. With its well-equipped fitness centre, restaurant with scenic terrace and outdoor bar area on the little square just in front of the lake, this hotel has a stylish and refined personality. The Hotel Splendid in Baveno was fully refurbished in 2009 and its communal toilet facilities are now fitted with Idral NO TOUCH SYSTEM electronic taps.

Continuity and simplicity are the two key concepts that have driven the project for the new electronic tap mixer that I have created for Idral. I thought of this new functional object as of an actor who needs to be able to adapt to a variety of possible contexts and scenarios and a technological tap whose design aims to be ionic but also streamlined and minimal.
IDRAL’s aesthetic interpretation of electronic taps “IDRALSYNT 02509” is a perfect combination of functionality and design. Created by architect Simone Micheli, it matches a streamlined look with highlyreliable technology. Its operation is based on a sensor which is able to start and stop the water flow without the user touching the tap, in compliance with the most stringent hygiene regulations. The sensor-based operation also allows to optimise water consumption and prevent wastage. “IDRALSYNT 02509” is easy to install and can be either connected to mains electricity or to batteries. Like all no-touch systems in the IDRALSYNT range (including taps, mixers, urinals and shower panels), it automatically activates the water flow once every 24 hours to prevent the formation of bad odours and ensure maximum hygiene.

The IDRALSAVE WATER & ENERGY self-closing taps represent the ideal solution for public facilities and sports complexes, requiring that maximum hygiene and practicality are guaranteed to users, while ensuring savings in water consumption. Design and look are also important features in the IDRALSAVE - save water & energy range. The self-closing taps are activated at the simple press of the button, while the water ow stops automatically without users having to touch anything. This ensures maximum hygiene, while reducing water and energy consumption.

Bologna’s trade fair and exhibition centre spreads over a total area of 375,000 square metres, including both covered and external spaces, with toilet facilities covering 36,000 square metres. Its 18 halls are fully wired, air-conditioned and equipped with IT systems and feature five independent entrances allowing to host several events at once. Flexibility and mobility are guaranteed through a system of travellators and parking areas providing 14,500 covered parking spaces.

IDRALTECH
Part of the IDRALTECH range, washbasin mixer tap T-SENSE is an innovative electronic tap connected to mains electricity via a transformer. The washbasins feature a very modern design, are made entirely out of stainless steel, with no edges, and are fitted with two built-in T-SENSE taps. Thanks to its touch system, the T-SENSE tap is activated with just a light touch of the button and can be stopped either manually with another light touch or automatically, after a preset time. The T-SENSE technology ensures optimal hygiene levels, as well as significant water savings (thanks to a selfclosing system designed to prevent water wastage), making the T-SENSE the perfect solution for public facilities. The T-SENSE taps have been fitted in all the changing rooms for both athletes and referees, as well as in all communal toilet facilities within the complex.

The Palau de Sant Jordi is the most impressive of the facilities that were built for the 1992 Olympics. Designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, it is a true jewel in progressive architecture. It can seat up to 17,000 spectators and hosts important sports and cultural events.

IDRALLIFE
IdralLIFE comprises two different lines of sanitary ware compliant with Italian Presidential Decree No. 503/96 on the removal of architectural barriers in public buildings and facilities. The ergonomic washbasins can all be fitted with fixed or tilting shelves, while the WCs with frontal opening are available in either suspended or oor-standing version. IdralLIFE also includes two sanitary ware models thought specifically for the elderly, with ergonomic washbasins and special height WCs and bidets (48 or 51 cm), ensuring user-friendliness for the less young, without compromising on appearance. Completing the IdralLIFE family is a range of handles and specific accessories, including tilting mirrors, seats and tubs.

The Casa Sant’Angela Merici care home is located in Casazza, in the province of Bergamo, where the sense of belonging to the local community is strong and the people take part in the life of the care home, volunteering their time and effort to ensure that the guests enjoy a few cheerful, serene hours. Welcoming, bright, with an extensive play area, this small day nursery in Gargallo has been a happy choice for many parents since 2008. A happy choice for children from 6 months to 2 years of age and their families. With only a limited number of places available, it provides a safe, made-tomeasure environment for small kids, who will feel as comfortable as in their own home. The centre also offers an excellent crèche service, allowing parents to leave their children for just a few hours.

Before being considered suitable for sale, all Idral products undergo e series of internal inspections in accordance with our ISO9001:2008 certification requirements. Our products for the construction industry comply with EU Regulation 305/2011 (CPR) and have been approved for CE marking. Declarations of performance (DoPs) are available for all products. Part of our tapware products have obtained the WRAS approval, which requires compliance with specific technical standards (i.e.: UNI EN 816:1998) indicating also the testing methods and criteria to be applied for the various product categories in terms of size, strength and function, including long term. EU Directive 98/83/EC, as transposed in the various national laws (Italian Ministerial Decree No. 174/04, ACS, etc.), sets out the applicable parameter values for drinking water. Following specific laboratory tests, our taps have been granted the ACS certification, attesting that a product is fit to come into contact with water for human consumption pursuant to French Decree Law dated 29 May 1997, as amended.
