Os promotores são um casal de empresários, ambos marinheiros e com uma vasta experiência no turismo. Da nossa experiência e gosto pela náutica, surgiu a ideia de criar a Algarve SUN BOAT Trips, uma empresa marítimo turística amiga do ambiente, com uma frota de barcos solares para passeios no Algarve. Os nossos barcos solares proporcionam uma experiência muito agradável e relaxante, pois são silenciosos, navegam a uma velocidade constante e permitem realizar passeios sem causar prejuízo à flora e fauna. Contribuímos para uma forma de turismo sustentável ao reduzir a poluição nos leitos de água e sem emissão de gases de carbono. A combustão de um litro de gasolina produz cerca de 2,3kg de dióxido de carbono e um barco consome em média 50l a cada 100km. Poupamos diariamente o ambiente da emissão de 115kg de CO2, que corresponde a um volume de 65m3. Ao final de um ano, cada um dos nossos barcos solares irá reduzir a poluição atmosférica em mais de 30 toneladas de CO2, com um volume total de 16.400m3, correspondente a 140.000 balões cheios de dióxido de carbono. E isto é só um barco, não é fantástico?!
We're We're a passionate team that will be delighted to take you aboard on an unforgettable solar boat trip through the Arade River! River! The company owners are a couple of entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, both skippers and with a vast experience in tourism. From our experience and passion for boating, we came up with the idea of creating Algarve SUN BOAT Trips, an environment friendly maritime tourist company, with a fleet of solar boats for tours in the Algarve. Our solar boats provide a very pleasant and relaxing experience, as they’re quiet, sail at a constant speed and don’t cause any damage to the flora and fauna. We contribute to sustainable tourism, reducing pollution in water beds and producing zero carbon emissions. The combustion of a liter of gasoline produces about 2.3 kg of carbon dioxide and a boat consumes an average of 50 liters per 100km. We save every day the atmosphere of 115kg of CO2, which corresponds to a volume of 65m3. By the end of a year, each of our solar boats will reduce atmospheric pollution by more than 30 tons of CO2, with a total volume of 16.400m3, corresponding to 140.000 balloons filled with carbon dioxide. And this is just a boat, isn’t it fantastic?!

O nosso barco é 100% amigo do ambiente. Não consome combustíveis fósseis nem produz gases de efeito de estufa (GEE). Os motores eléctricos não derramam óleos nem produzem fumos de escape.
Our boat is 100% environmentally friendly. It doesn’t consume fossil fuels and doesn’t emit greenhouse gases (GHG). The solar electric motor doesn’t spill oils and doesn’t produce exhaust fumes.
