OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Ambassadors are the heart of the conference, and the backbone of conference promotion. Algeria Model United Nations Ambassadorship program will be in charge of spreading the AMUN concept in their regions, and also participate in the organization of Algeria MUN Conference 2016. Being part of the 3rd edition of Algeria Model United Nations conference will be a unique chance to contribute in the progress and success of Algeria Model United Nations and in the other hand you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expand your network. -
To promote and enhance the reputation of the Algeria Model United Nations conference, by dealing professionally, accurately and empathetically with all potential participants, sponsors, partners and public fans..

To support the Communication & Marketing, External Relations team in achieving its external marketing strategy objectives through involvement in activities designed to promote the recruitment of delegates.

To support the Communication & Marketing team in achieving its internal marketing strategy objectives by committing to a strong delegate service culture.

To support all other teams, when required, in achieving their strategy objectives.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. To be a competent and professional representative of the Algeria MUN in all dealings with public. 2. To be a positive role model encouraging young people to consider being part of Algeria MUN as an attractive program for their academic educational development. 3. To maintain a welcoming atmosphere for delegates to the AMUN 2016 Conference. 4. To be aware of and adjust to new information given by Secretariat staff. 5. To organize Algeria MUN Open Day at regional level for students. 6. To represent AMUN at promotional events – Based on prior approval only -. 7. To provide support to the secretariat team and new delegates. 8. To provide clerical and administrative support to the conference secretariat team when required. 9. To be aware of appropriate AMUN policies and procedures including Code of conduct, rules of procedures. 10. To promote AMUN using higher developed strategies, using social media and other tools. 11. To support and involve in AMUN 2016 conference in a variety of roles including supervision of regional delegations. 12. To deliver presentations on Algeria MUN experience(s). 13. Algeria MUN Ambassadors may be required, from time to time, to fulfill other adhoc duties as appropriate to their skills. requirement.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATION : 1. Previous participation in Algeria MUN conference(s) and-or Activities. 2. Taking an active role within his/her society. 3. Previous experiences in volunteering activities. 4. Participated in organizing Local/National or Regional events. 5. Good English level (oral and written). 6. Good communication skills (oral and written). 7. Demonstrate his/her interests in representing his/her region to Algeria MUN conference. 8. Experience in working with young people and/or interest in doing so. 9. Willingness to develop his/her skills. 10. Ability to host AMUN open day at University level. 11. Understanding of objectives of Algeria Model United Nations program. 12. Evidence of enthusiasm and positive approach to AMUN as a life time experience. 13. Reliability and commitments. 14. Good time management.
