the project consists in an urban and architectural intervention in lake 3 tunis. The idea is to find a spatiality that houses the different functions of contemporary artistic expression for citizens. A new architectural vision leaves to create a strong link between citizens and space. The program I’m going to propose it will be : - On the one hand a translation of a multitude of urban practices that we have identified in the city of Tunis and whose citizens do not find the right space to perform these functions (generally we find the avenue as the only space to express oneself). -On the other hand, this functional program will try to involve the citizen and train him to become an active member in his community. Our goal will therefore be to instruct in a new spatiality that allows the chance of encounter and has the ambition to produce and encourage human relations.

MUSEUM OF MODERN ART-TUNIS A FRAGMENTED PROJECT THAT UNIFIES CITIZENS Team : Location : Year : Software :

my personal work Tunis 2018 Autocad , Sketchup ,Revit, Photoshop ,Lumion

the project consisted in the design of a museum of contemporary art in the city center of Tunis. Such a valuable site with a rather important value. The idea was to create a museum but at the same time to create a large urban space reserved for the free expression for people: artists, musicians.... I tried to create a fragmented project , principally divided into 3 separate entities: Two entities reserved for exhibitions, an auditorium and a large cafe on the top floor, and an entity reserved for the administration and housing for artists. This fragmentation helped me to create a whole outdoor space that belongs to the project: we are talking about a space inside. Although these entities are separated, I tried to unify them by : The creation of several walkways that ensure the fluidity of the circulation. Creation of a membrane that serves as a cover for the urban square created.

the creation of an urban place in front of the project that will receive people and will be a place of free artistic expression.

the creation of two urban breakthroughs that will create 3 fragmented and separate volumes .

The fragmentation of the 3 volumes will create a second semi-public urabine place in the project.

we will try to find a link between these 3 fragmented volumes through the creation of a roof that will cover the building and through the creation of several walkways that will allow for the fluidity of the traffic.

TABARKA CRUISE PORT CHALLENGE DESIGN OF NEW CRUISE PORT FOR TABARKA Team : Location : Year : Software : Duration :

4 persons Tabarka-Tunisia 2019 Autocad , Sketchup ,Revit, Photoshop ,Lumion 6 days

Ports are part of the history of the littoral and waterways, they have always been a place of authentic life and a part of the local and cultural heritage of the territory. Faced with the particularity of the city of TABARKA, our major challenge is to ensure a true continuity between the sea and the city on the one hand, and to inject a program that marks the singularity of the intervention site on the other hand. In a first place, an attempt was made to strengthen the urban connection between the city and the new port through the extension of the main axis of Habib Avenue, whose width is remarkable and capable of receiving the flow of tourists coming from the port and ensuring their infiltration into the heart of the city. This artery was then extended towards the sea until reaching the 10 meters depth necessary to accommodate the large ships (360m long). The projection of the dikes was considered taking into account natural factors (prevailing winds, water depth, sea currents) and the adjacent hotel context (swimming), hence the creation of 3 basins of different vocations (a terminal for cruises, a marina and a recreational basin for kayaks, pedal boats and scuba diving). Towards the end, the positioning of the ferry terminal with all the necessary clearance for each ship at the level of the quays, the terminals, the customs and police offices, the administration and an exchange office was planned, while maintaining the technical and refit service premises nearby. Then there is mobility management (parking for buses, cabs, bicycles and the private vehicles of the administrative offices), with routes extending all along the axis leading to the city. A little further ahead are the cultural activities (coral manufacturing and handling workshops, traditional pipe making workshops, craft jewelry stores, a museum exhibiting the know-how of Tabarkois ...) with consumption areas (cafeterias, tea rooms and restaurants). A nautical club is combined, at the beach level, with a playful basin bordered by platforms and stands for contemplation inhabited by the walking public attending the festivities and competitions that the basin could host

MOBILITY AND TRANSPORT STRATEGY Les lignes de circulation

Circuit des taxibateaux

The lines of circulation are structured according to various tourist attractions in the area; The fort of Tabarka, the church of Saint Maxime, the genoa ruins and the marina are all landmarks from where we tried to get to the to create some kind of connection between them. The concept was to ensure continuity and alternation for users of the space in order to circulate by different types of mobility between these tourist attractions. This reflection thus ensures the continuity of the city with its new port.

KAIRA LOORO COMPETETION PROPOSE AN EMERGENCY CENTER Team : Location : Year : Software :

5 persons Sub-Saharien Afrique 2020 Autocad , Sketchup ,Revit, Photoshop ,Lumion

Emergency Architecture has become a major sector of humanitarian intervention, as the growing populations affected by conflicts and natural disasters call for intensification of efforts to bring relief and shelter. This urge for solidarity opens up alternative avenues for the exercise of architecture. Refugee camps are now the embodiment of what might be called the ‘‘temporary that lasts.’’ Far from confiscating autonomy, and from inducing dehumanization through stereotypes, architecture is more of a free, wild intervention, which dives into real life, creative and fully human, where the functions of architect, mason and inhabitant must blend into each other. As a result, this project relies on versatility and modularity, at low cost of implementation, in a participatory approach. The project is designed to deal with several types of humanitarian or climate emergencies: floods or droughts, assistance to refugees or migrants. Using the same core structure, the building can be either achieved in a temporary version or in a durable sustainable version, thanks to its filling modules, that allow to opt for a temporary or permanent material. The simplicity of the assembly of the building allows speedy implementation and the involvement of users in the construction process as well. During emergency crises, panic is a key parameter that can affect crisis management. A circulation and filtration scenario is therefore needed here, to adapt the architecture to the needs of refugees and workers from the organizations.

When the flood invades the site, the building will float on the water thanks to the set of plastic barrels attached to the bottom of the floor. In this way the construction will adapt to the water level and the vertical movement is ensured by the peripheral guide posts.

A small jewel located at the rue du Luxembourg, between the Avenue de Paris and the rue de Marseille, was our starting point...A small jewel that retraces the history of Tunis and the fusion of different eras. In this building an element that has marked me is the «Musharabiah». The idea was to take the moucharabieh which is made of wood and reinterpret it by a double skin system that we will work it with the same material. The idea was to take the moucharabieh which is made of wood and reinterpret it by a double skin system that we will work it with the same material. This double skin will be constituted by a primary structure represented by wooden rods of 5cm diameter with a secondary filling by wooden strips of 0.3cm diameter. Protecting our heritage means respecting our history It is important for society to maintain landmarks beyond museums of folk traditions, regardless of their interest and quality. We must define the means for the protection of our heritage and its diffusion. Within our intervention the major difficulty was to intervene but at the same time to preserve the personality of the place. «Conservation is a philosophy, an attitude, an ethic...»
