BIO Alice Koswara is a graphic designer and contemporary artist living in San Francisco with her husband Eric ”Phoneticontrol” Broers and their two cats. She graduated from the Academy of Art University with a BFA in Graphic Design. She paints delicate ladies, animals and plant life. She draws inspiration from her collections of vintage ephemera, old movies, period fashion and vintage pinup girl posters. She works with acrylic, water color, pen, ink, gouache on wood, vintage paper, vintage maps and canvas. In 2010 she joined forces with her husband Phoneticontrol to form PHOKOS.
