For those who haven’t been to a Bikram yoga class before, here are some useful tips for them. Practicing in the room with 105 degrees is not an easy task. You will need to prepare yourself for the environment. Bikram yoga is a group of 26 poses performed in a heated room.

Tips :
Stay hydrated : Drinking lots of water before and after the session is more important to stay hydrated.
Don’t do beyond your limits : If you feel any type of discomfort, stop immediately.
Food : Remember to eat sufficient meal at least 3 hours before your class. Do not get full.

Clothing : Dress as little as you can. Remember you are practicing hot yoga in which you emits sweat. So clothes should not distract you from your practice due to sweat.
Arrive early : Arrive 10 – 15 minutes early in the class to allow your body to adapt to the environment.
What to bring : Get a yoga mat, 2 towels, a water bottle with you.

Breaks between the sessions : Do not rush to complete all the lessons in one go. If you feel dizzy, uncomfortable site back and take a break. Relax and start again.
End with savasana : Don’t get under shower immediately after you finish your session. Instead end the practice with savasana to get your body cool down gradually.
