A dialysis patient care technician works in blood filtering, offers treatment to patients with advanced kidney diseases which is supervised by registered nurses. Duties :
Dialysis PCT disinfect the dialysis equipments and prepare fluid used in dialysis of each patient
He takes care of patient during the dialysis procedure
Once the procedure is completed, a dialysis PCT disconnects the patient from the equipment and applies dressing to the area.

Training :
A high school diploma or GED is required to get an admission in community college or technical school.
Some programs required a certified nursing assistant (CNA) certification.
Some programs required basic life support or CPR certification
