We aim to provide the companies we represent with a passionate and enthusiastic experience, supporting and building awareness for smaller brands and maintaining and expanding larger, more established companies. We will make sure to listen to what our customers want and respond to their needs and requests. We feel interaction is key to a good working relationship and we pride ourselves on the standard of our communication skills. In keeping with our trademark, ‘Service to rival any other’, we offer a modern and fresh approach whilst not dismissing any of the traditional methods that got us where we are. An eclectic mix of Twitter and Royal Mail, if you will, is an approach we find works.

Objectives We endeavor to set up a PR company for the more discerning client who wishes to be represented by an inspiring and motivated team specialising in promoting and establishing exiting new and traditional old British brands. In order to succeed as a company we need to completely understand and match the needs and wants of the client, to do this, we believe that communication is key.

Aims & Goals Our aim as a PR company is to help brands raise awareness, build on existing knowledge and help expand the company and achieve their goals. From recently working with some of the most established and respected brands in Britain, we have gained valuable knowledge of how to achieve a brands vision and long-term goals as well as working towards the future aims and ideas of the company. We want to gain the trust of our clients and also gain an understanding of who the brand is, what they do and how they do it. We believe this is the best way to get fully involved and understand the brand and really work with them the best we can, to get consistently good results.

Definition of Target Audience We wish to aim Polite PR at a very British Audience, and to represent the traditional and classic crafts and expertise that the British are so renowned for, including timeless Savile Row Taylors, Luxury leather goods companies like Smythson and established country clothing brands such as Barbour as well as innovative and current British Fashion houses, including Temperley London and Mulberry.

Strategy to Target Audience In order to raise awareness of our company and appeal to the clients we are after, we will promote our company with an eclectic mix of modern technology, social networking and the good old-fashioned route of meeting potential clients face-to-face, talking in person. We will hold a launch event that people can attend in order to interact with us, learn about our values and gain valuable information about the company. This event will then be accessible online, in the form of videos and photos from the night. We wish to uphold the traditions of the established brands we represent and keep their classic, exclusive and heritage qualities whist helping them move into the future and keep up with the ever-changing times. Whilst also helping new, young British brands get on their feet and help them become bigger, better companies.

Tactics In order to attract new clients and help our current clients achieve the most for their brand, we will use this mixture of new technology and more traditional methods as a way to reach the widest possible variety of audiences. The social networking sites, including Twitter, Facebook, Linked-In and also Blogging will appeal and translate to the younger audience we wish to attract. Whilst the more customary methods like e-mail, physical documents, phone calls and meeting in person will appeal to the more conventional, established audience. Hopefully by combing these two methods of communication we can appeal to a wider range of people, therefore attracting more clients. With a unique network of connections gained from years of experience, broad thinking and close relationship with our clients we can hope to gain the best results possible through the right channels on any budget or scale.

Monitoring and Measuring Strategy In order to measure our success, we must first define it. To do this we will agree with our client on goals to accomplish. We will use a company such as Burrellesluce.com to monitor our media coverage. We will also use a company such as Cision or Teletrax to monitor our online and television coverage. A company such as eWatch, a service to track what people say about your client online, will also be used as well as a Systematic Content Analysis software program.
