Ali Pour Issa

Ali Pour Issa has graduated from the Yale School of Drama, Yale University with an MFA degree in Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism. Pour Issa has experience as an instructor, theater director, writer, and visual artist in Iran, the U.K., and the U.S. He made his professional short film debut, Cold Ground, in Tehran in 2012. He has been teaching a graduate course, Survey of New Theories in Dramatic Literature, to MA students in Directing at the University of Tehran. He taught History of Theater (1700 through Today) in English at the English department at the University of Tehran in 2012. Also he taught two courses in Farsi, Seeing and Analyzing (Criticism Workshop) at the Theater Studies Department at the University of Tehran, and another Criticism class at the Theater Studies Department at Soureh University in 2012.
