House in the Wood Tea House HITW -1
This project was to offer a private urban garden house. A place to sit and enjoy a chat, a place to enjoy the landscape. With this opportunity, I developed a full set of drawings as well as client relations. From its concept to the architecture, I tackled subjects and gained valuable technical drafting skills as well as working with consultants to offer competent project packages. During the development, I have worked on survey drawings and construction knowledge dealing with a range of innovative materials, modeling and drawing techniques in CAD, 3D Rhino, Illustrator.
House in the Wood Tea House HITW -1
Modern tea house made of timber logs placed on a sloped part of the site. This stylish project was to offer great views of the surrounding nature to the clients. This small footprint dwelling is a combination of traditional vernacular log techniques with a modern architectonic expression. It consists of one volume with a swimming pool and a decking which is the balcony. Natural habitat is maintained with the water flow running down the slope for a calmer feeling on the landscape.
House in the Wood Maintenance House HITW - 2 The residential garden maintenance team are mindful of the continual use of the grounds and manage the upkeep to ensure that the residents’ enjoyment is not compromised. The preservation of atmosphere by subtle maintenance will be supported with a modern decorative log house which covers and keep everything in place ready for the demand.
This sustainable station sitting towards a sloped hill has many storage units and working spaces allowing fluency during the working hours. An office space with a security room to support privacy. This model of construction allows to enjoy the landscape and at the same time keep its natural state.
House in the Wood Maintenance House HITW - 2 This project was to offer multiple spaces for a garden maintenance team. This interlinked big volume which consists of 2 stories that have large window surfaces and a sheltered terrace to form a natural link between the outside world and the spaces within. In natural boundaries, this sustainable house is an example of a quick assembly construction method.

ARTIST RESIDENCES Can An Old Castle Be Iconic To The Visitors, Contextual to the community and blend with the landscape simultaneously?
Proposed a cluster of new and horizontally expressed spaces and residences which offer the required facilities and encourage a greater connection with the landscape and the castle. Core idea, if we can transform the
spaces and the old castle into something that will help its community while maximizing the potential of the existing context. Achieved by workable solutions that believes and acts as an element that transforms the
spaces to a place with specific sensory and behavioral characteristics for particular artists and people. The use of natural elements such as trees, water, flowers, plants, grape fields around the organization creates spatial
continuity, introversion, spatial coherence and reflection. Integrating user and place with the discovery of meanings from different heights of the geometric roof terraces help to identify the historical basis from different view-
points and compositions. The use of traditional wood and stone techniques will help to relax the residences also respect the spatial and cultural environment.
Heritage + Residences
Mainly focusing on the construction techniques with modeling units in 3D Revit and Rhino helped me to understand complex interlocking frames in detail. Playing in the notion of large common play space, to taste different wines and try different cheeses in the grape fields, main structures are timber followed by the yellow tinted claddings of the terraces is in order to follow to the continuity of architectural language throughout spaces both old and new from the historical background that is being preserved and helping it to open up to the community.
I would like to show you more of my work at your convenience. Thank you for your time and consideration. Ali Eren Part 2 Architectural Assistant 07479096616 aliriza.eren@hotmail.com London, 2 Mayday Gardens
