instant - city
After Londonites declared their independence they analysed social media and are implementing solutions to problems of everyday life to make New London move quicker. Day to day life has changed to become interactive, with questions embedded into the fabric of the city, asking the residents how they would like their city to run. It is telling the people that they need not individually concern themselves with the city’s infrastructure, the new system can analyse it though their phones. The way that they use the technology understands what people want but also improves strategies and solutions. This new technology opens the door to a new era where they have their autonomy and are able to make decisions themselves quicker and with more engagement in the problems. Rather than going through the bureaucracy; years of governments speaking to the general public, the new infrastructure gives them a quicker process so they can make the more difficult decisions quicker. The bureaucracy levels that the city needs to go through will not cause any stress for people and everything leads to a correlation of analysing social data.

PARTICIPATION How people act in a space is like a finger print. Every indivicual has a unique index. If we look at what you do then we have an index which is farely unique to you. Almost like a fingerprint but its not your finger print. Maybe if we put lots of sensors on Europe. What can we do then ? If we aggregate data its easier to understand where the next car crashes are more likely to happen and you can do this in 5 seconds. MORE INFORMATION, MORE DATA You can do things that you couldn’t do. Machine learning, machine age. We have to be the master of reading data. It will take time, its transforming the way we live, the way we work, the way we control.
