While loosing several of them to the disease, one of their major concerns was loosing their hair and self- image. I felt the need to take ACTION. On Saturday, October 5, 2013, we hold Hair Walk: The Movement, at the Famously Hot, Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. We are excited to be partnering with the South Carolina Oncology Associates, in support of the SCOA Cares Foundation. This foundation provides assistance to uninsured and underinsured cancer patients. By organizing this event, we hope to raise $50,000 for the SCOA Cares Foundation to continue their Retail Pharmacy Voucher Program, Patient Transportation, Educational and Support Classes/Workshops throughout the Midlands. However to make this event a success, we need your support. We kindly ask that you support us in our efforts to bring forth an amazing show by donating promotional items to include in our Max Bags, to distribute to our sponsors and VIP ticket buyers.

ABOUT THE EVENT HairWalk: The Movement is a charity fundraising event focused on raising money and awareness for a cause of action. The high-energy 2013 Hair and Fashion show will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at, The Famously Hot, Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. The high energy fashion show will be the largest of its kind promoting local businesses, featuring local media personalities serving as Master of Ceremonies, celebrity fashion stylist, award winning hair stylist, and emerging fashion designers. Hair Walk will also feature the work of students who competed in the HeadHunterz Competition. Student-stylists will serve as ambassadors for their cosmetology institution, while competing amongst their colleagues. They will be judged on creating customized wigs to be donated to the SCOA Cares Foundation.
OUR PARTNER The 2013 Hair and Fashion Show will be partnering with South Carolina Oncology Associates in support of their SCOA Cares Foundation. SCOA Cares Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that provides assistance to uninsured and underinsured cancer patients. Their goal is to provide the highest standard of care to all patients in the Midlands and surrounding areas.
