Hawkes Health was formed out of the Oil & Gas sector in Aberdeen. Its ‘Blue Chip’ clients include Shell, Premier Oil and Marathon Oil. The firm’s network of offices include Aberdeen, Norwich, London, Manchester and Birmingham.

Hawkes Health provides environmental health and occupational hygiene services that it believes will be in high demand in relation to recent decommissioning firms setting up in the city. Services include recording how hazardous materials are handled, noise levels assessments and air monitoring.

Hawkes also provide on or off site drug and alcohol testing and food safety auditing, enabling catering facilities to meet their legal responsibility to ensure food storage and service is safe.

Directors Michele Buckley and Dan Hawkes said: ‘’We assess any type of workplace health risk. We are already nurturing relationships in Dundee and we want to capitalise on this incoming work.”
