Cushion Type: Installation | Where: Toronto Nuit Blanche Contribution: Volunteer for Fabrication + Set Up

Enter an alleyway turned into a place of contemplation by otherworldly beings. Allow your thoughts to wander among these shifting expressions of light and air.

Description of experience: “These huddled volumes react to your presence in a dialogue of the senses. They can respond to changes in light from your shadow, pressure from your touch, or the sound of your voice as you move between them. “Find a moment of pause from the overwhelming speed of information outside...” “ By JENNYFROMTHEBLOCK on omitlimitation.com

Bilbauten Type: Studio | Advisor: Peter Sealy
Description: In Phillip Schaerer’s Bilbauten Series he created photo-realistic collages to challenge what we believe is reality and comment on the ‘authenticity’ of renders in architecture. Produced as a response to Bilbauten my series explores this concept of a fictional reality in various collages. His intention was to create commentary of ‘reality’ in architecture were mine, using the same tools, creates a commentary of fictions.

The inside of the mind is filled with information and trips and wires that interweave into what we believe is our experience of reality. Our mainframe of information allows us to recognize familiar aspects even in foreign settings. A series of windows indicates an office building to our catalogue of information. The lack of a door or hatch indicates no entry. The ladder indicates invitation. The same catalogue of clues in infinite forms imply the quality of form becomes either crucial or redundant in this series.

Freelance Branding Type: Freelance | Where: Toronto
This logo was created for a local hair studio based in Toronto. BHHS hosts the majority of their social media representation online on instagram. In my branding I wanted to make a simple but visually impacting logo that conveys they are stylists, colourists and expertly balance ‘classy’ with ‘trendy’.

UWaterloo Involvement Type: 2A Play | Where: Cambridge Ontario
Our story features two contrasting narrative surrounding the surrealist play-write Antonin Artaud. One which focuses on his experiences of psychosis as it brings him into the hands of one of the centuries most famous psychoanalysts, Dr. Jacques Lacan. The other surrounds Artaud working with his surrealist companions in an experimental theatre, a theatre of cruelty. In this narrative I was a feature character of Gertrude Stein.
