Step 1: Visit Forevertheretributefunds.rainbowtrust.org.uk and click on the ‘Create a Forever Tribute Fund’ icon to begin.

Step 2: Follow the simple registration process. Step 3: Start sharing your page with friends and family.

To open your tribute fund, there is no minimum or maximum amount that you need to raise, and it will remain open for as long as you choose. All donations and fundraising is recorded against your Forever There Tribute Fund and will be used by Rainbow Trust to support families who have a seriously ill child.

You are now ready to personalise your page. Here are some areas to explore;

Home page Each Forever There Tribute Fund has its own special home page, personalised message about your loved one, picture slideshow, posts from friends and family, URL, as well as links to other sections of your tribute.

Life Stories The life stories section allows you to post stories and memories, these can be linked to special pictures, music and video clips.

Picture Gallery The picture gallery contains all the candles, messages, music, pictures and videos contributed to your page.

Fundraising Centre Each Forever There Tribute Fund page is underpinned by the fundraising centre. This can be set as the tribute fund homepage and it incorporates any type of In Memory fundraising, from organised events, through to fundraising and memorial gatherings that you have planned yourself.

Event pages Whether you choose to arrange an event such as a quiz or coffee morning, or if you opt to participate in one of our sporting challenges, you can set up an event page to manage this. By creating and adding events on your tribute fund page, you can set yourself fundraising targets, and collect sponsorship from friends and family - just like you would with Just Giving, Virgin Money Giving or BT donate. The benefit to setting up all your event pages here, is that you can keep track of how much each event has raised all in one place. If you have already set up an alternative online event fundraising page, you can easily link this to your tribute fund. The sponsorship raised will remain on that page, but it is easy to add as an offline donation to your tribute fund so you can keep a record of all of your In Memory fundraising on a single page.

Lighting a Candle Visitors can share thoughts and messages by choosing to light a virtual candle. There is a beautiful range to choose from, with an option to donate to Rainbow Trust, should you wish. Lighting a candle is a popular way to mark special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.

Rainbow Trust’s Remembrance Garden We are so proud to have our Remembrance Garden as a place for supporters to display their tribute funds and share memories of their loved ones together.

Privacy Settings As the guardian of your Forever There Tribute Fund you have the option to amend the privacy settings of your webpage*. Your tribute fund will automatically be set as ‘public’ and will also be added to Rainbow Trust’s Remembrance Garden unless you choose otherwise. Keeping your tribute fund public means friends and family can search for it easily and we can celebrate your loved one’s memory with you in our Remembrance Garden. We do understand that some families prefer to make their tribute funds private, so in order to change the privacy setting, simply click the ‘Settings’ button along the bottom of the page. From there, click ‘Tribute Preferences’ and then ‘Privacy Options’. These settings are not finite and can be amended at any time. The options will also let you choose which messages are posted on your pages and send you an alert if you would like to receive these. *Please note, if you decide to set your tribute fund as private, it will not be shown on our Remembrance Garden.
