Welcome

Hello! pleased to meet you... my name’s Yvonne Lee and I run Allegoric Designs from my studio in rural Dorset. I create illustrated kitchen and giftware for people who love the Great British countryside, but don’t love chintz.

My Circus Farm collection comes in colours to suit contemporary kitchens but while the tones may be sophisticated, my designs are anything but sedate. My aim is to make people smile while providing high quality, practical products which are a joy to use.

Allegoric’s products feature my exclusive illustrations. I’ve been a professional artist and illustrator for many years and spend sunny Dorset days sketching in the countryside.

BEGINNINGS I’ve been a professional artist and illustrator since graduating from my BA Illustration in 2005 and finished my MA in Illustration recently and just love making images. I draw all the designs myself, so my designs are truly original.

I began Allegoric Designs whilst struggling to find some new placemats and coasters for my new kitchen.

I was looking for kitchen goodies which suited a contemporary country kitchen and colours but had a Dorset countryside flavour. Not finding what I was looking for I created my own with a cuppa never very far away!

The designs began with the cows in the fields behind my studio, who are very exuberant. I started doodling them and Buttercup the Balancing Cow was created. I then had lots of fun thinking of clever tricks for the rest of the animals, and the Circus Farm was born.

I hope the antics of the Circus Farm animals make you smile too!

Re-stock orders have a minimum order value of £115.00 I only supply at wholesale prices to approved retailers (not to be sold on secondary market websites, e.g. Amazon, Ebay). Cancellations If you would like to change or cancel you’ll need to let me know in writing to hello@ allegoric.co.uk within 48 hours of an order acceptance. If you cancel or reduce quantities after 48 hours of acceptance of your order I will charge the full order amount.

Delivery + Lead Times Carriage Cost is £15 for orders up £200.00.

I aim to get your stock to you as quickly as possible. Once you have confirmed you are happy with estimated delivery times in writing the order will be accepted. My aim is to make sure you have the stock when you need it so you should get it well within this time.

Damages All my stock will be packaged ready to sell.

Please attach a photo of the damaged product. You will then need to return the damaged products. Returned products will not be accepted or replaced if they are held for more than 10 days after receipt. Returned products will be replaced with new products.
