Congratulations to These 2021 CASMI
The Chicago Association of Spring Manufacturers, Inc. (CASMI) has continued its spring industry scholarship program by again awarding scholarships of $1,500 each to dependents of CASMI employees. An additional award of $2,500, a postgraduate scholarship known as the Terry & Jerry Reese Postgraduate Scholarship, was added to CASMI’s scholarship program due to a special grant from Rosemont Exposition Services, our SpringWorld general service contractor. These awards were presented in both 2021 and 2022.
Additionally, the $2,500 Terry & Jerry Reese Postgraduate was established in 2006 by a special grant from Rosemont Exposition Services. The 2020 honoree for CASMI’s Terry & Jerry Reese Postgraduate Scholarship is Tomasz Gruchala, son of Greg Gruchala, Sterling Spring Corporation.

Total cash awards given out for CASMI Scholarships total $912,000 since the program began in 1989! An independent scholarship management service, Scholarship America, processes and reviews all of the applications, giving CASMI an impartial, objective review of all applicants.
