Two scenic concrete trails cross restored Blackland prairie and a pecan grove, linking the Trailhead to Plano’s trail system. This connection offers easy access from nearby neighborhoods and Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve.

New spectator shade structure at Bolin Park

Lost Creek Park Playground

Lost Creek Park has a buzzworthy new playground that everyone will be buzzing about. Construction is scheduled to begin mid 2025. This new playground is sure to be the bee’s knees.

Locomotive Train Cover

The proposed improvements will include the installation of an architectural stylized shade structure over the existing locomotive and caboose located at the at Allen Heritage Depot.

Ford Park, built in 1986, has long been a cornerstone of Allen’s recreational spaces. As the surrounding community has grown and evolved, so have its needs. Guided by public input during the 2023 bond process, the official Ford Park Master Plan is here! After the bonds funding this project are released (anticipated within two years), Parks leadership will work with architects to draft construction plans that reflect the community’s vision.
