From the Editor Summer is typically a season where people spend more time outdoors. Exercise is up, as people look to gain that extra edge in fitness. Warmer and longer days also typically mean barbecue season and not-so-healthy food choices. Ergo, we wanted to take a closer look at dietary, lifestyle, nutraceutical, and herbal interventions to improve glucose and insulin sensitivity. Linda Isaacs, MD, also discusses the benefits of pancreas glandular in this issue's, The Glandular Corner. We also take a look at seniors’ nutritional needs, which are often overlooked. We address why seniors may need more nutrients than one realizes, particularly as physiology declines in the golden years. So, we take a deep dive into the literature to see where one’s money is well spent in the race for the best CoQ10 delivery. Yours in Health, Dr. Todd A. Born, ND, CNS
