Emergency PPE Fund for New York There has been an overwhelming need for personal protective equipment (PPE) in healthcare facilities and for first responders around the nation. And, the current situation in New York is dire. At All Hands and Hearts, we are leveraging our disaster-relief experience, working with stressed supply chains, to source and distribute PPE to hospitals and other healthcare facilities that urgently need it, starting with those in Long Island, New York. "We have nearly 1,000 nurses, doctors, respiratory therapists and hospital workers who have been diagnosed with the virus in Suffolk County. This problem is compounded by the shortage of PPE and resources our frontlines desperately need. Our medical workers and first responders are constantly clamoring for gowns, gloves, face masks, earloop masks, and N95 masks to shield themselves from this highly contagious virus." - Derek Poppe, a spokesman for Suffolk County, NY Executive Steve Bellone The significant financial support provided by Lexington Partners and Juhi-Ash Center has been catalytic in inspiring others to generously donate to help reach our goal. We, however, still need your help. Please support our efforts by donating today. .

About All Hands and Hearts We effectively and efficiently address the immediate and long-term needs of communities impacted by natural disasters. We communicate directly with local leaders and community members and then deploy our unique model of engaging volunteers to enable direct impact, helping to build safer, more resilient schools, homes and infrastructure. We have earned a 4-star rating by Charity Navigator six years in a row and a Perfect 100. Less than 1% of rated nonprofits have received this distinction for financial and operational efficiency.
Slow the Spread of COVID-19 The COVID-19 pandemic has created a highly fluid and unprecedented situation across the globe. All Hands and Hearts suspended operations on March 13, 2020 to safeguard the communities we serve, our volunteers and staff. Read more about the actions we have taken to do our part, such as donating our entire sizable stock (worth $160,000) of N95 masks, hand sanitizers, safety goggles, nitrile gloves and TyChem suits to hospitals and health care centers around the United States, including: UCLA Medical Center in CA, St. Luke's Hospital in MA, Boston Medical Center, Rochester Medical Center in NY, South Shore Hospital in MA, Mayo Clinic - Eau Clare in WI, Valley Hospital in NV, UMass Memorial Health Alliance-Clinton in MA and a number of community groups. Once it is safe and appropriate to do so, All Hands and Hearts will fulfill its existing commitments to each of the communities we were working in, and preparing to work in, which had been impacted by natural disasters.
