Special Features: • The extra length of this adjustment screw (in comparison to traditional shorter length thumbscrews found on other frames)
lets the user open the outer frame wider, thereby allowing easy framing of even thicker garments. • The large, textured head of this screw makes turning/adjusting by hand easy. • There is also a slot for turning with a flat head screw driver, if preferred by the user. • The spring keeps the outer frame opened to the adjusted level during framing. This makes insertion of the inner frame easier.

Allied Offers Real Solutions Enabling Significant Cost Savings! How Did a Large Athletic Embroidery Operation – Majestic Athletic (a division of VF Imagewear) – Achieve Significantly Increased Embroidery Productivity and Save Big?

Their Practical Problem: A customer purchased a large number of Tubular Embroidery machines which came with various assorted frame sizes. Some frame sizes were designed to fit on the 400 mm Arm Spacing (AS) and some other frame sizes that were designed to fit on 495 Arm Spacings (AS). Throughout the day, whenever a different version frame may need to be used for a new job, their technician had to stop the machine to reposition the Arm Spacing from 400 to 495 mm or vice versa. While this may appear to some like a task that can be completed quickly, this time‐consuming changeover was being done multiple times a day on individual machines depending on the embroidery jobs being run. As a result, their embroidery productivity suffered every day! The customer contacted Allied for a Real Solution! Our Practical Solution: Allied developed all various frame sizes in wider (AS) specifications so that all frames would fit on one constant Arm Spacing set‐up for select group of machines. In this case, the customer had selected the Arm Spacing spec of 495 mm for all their machines. Allied supplied a combination package including a) some complete new Premium Allied Grid‐Lock (PAGL) frames with longer brackets and b) some conversion brackets to change customer’s existing 400 mm AS spec round & square frames into selected 495 mm AS spec frames. Using these new frames, the customer was able to 100% eliminate his daily need of arm repositioning, multiple times a day. In turn, this customer was able to run their machines non‐stop and thereby increase their embroidery productivity, achieving BIG COST SAVINGS and INCREASE PROFIT! 26
