Allied Offers Real Solutions Enabling Significant Cost Savings! How Did a Large Athletic Embroidery Operation – Majestic Athletic (a division of VF Imagewear) – Achieve Significantly Increased Embroidery Productivity and Save Big? Their Practical Problem: The customer purchased a large number of Tajima Tubular Embroidery machines which came with many assorted frame sizes. Some frames were designed to fit on the 360 mm Arm Spacing (AS) and some larger frame sizes that were designed for 500 or 605 mm Arm Spacings (AS). Throughout the day, depending on which frame size they wanted to use, their technician would have to stop the machine to reposition the Arm Spacing from 360 to 500 or 605 mm and vice versa. This time-consuming arm repositioning was being done multiple times a day on individual machines depending on the embroidery jobs. For every change, the machine would be stopped. Their productivity and profitability suffered every day! The customer contacted Allied for a Real Solution!

Our Practical Solution: Allied developed all various frame sizes in wider (AS) specifications so that all frames would fit on one constant Arm Spacing for a select group of machines. The customer selected the Arm Spacing spec of 500 mm for one group of machines & 605 mm for another group of Jumbo Sumo machines. Allied developed & supplied Premium Allied GridLock (PAGL) frames with longer brackets as well as conversion brackets to change existing round and square frames (including 30x30 cm) into the proper spec to fit on their selected Arm Spacings of 500 mm or 605 mm. No more repositioning of Arms was necessary for this customer every day. The customer was able to run their machines non-stop and thereby increase their embroidery productivity and achieve BIG SAVINGS!
