A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT I hope you had a great boating season and enjoyed some well-deserved downtime out on the water. Boat show season is here, and it is with great pleasure that I am writing you with an update from your friends at Allied Marine. A lot of great things have been happening within our organization that enables us to provide exceptional services and expertise that our valued customers have come to expect. Over the last 12 months, Allied Marine has opened a new Super Yacht Division Office at Fort Lauderdale’s Bahia Mar Yachting Center, which always has a fleet of super yachts lining its docks. This new location is focused on the sale of yachts Jon Burkard in the 100-plus-foot range, and is the new headquarters of Allied Marine Luxury President Yacht Charters. We redesigned the office interior to provide offices for our brightest sales executives and a client lounge area fitting of the super yacht environment. Please feel free to stop by and introduce yourself to Bruce Schattenburg, Allied Marine’s Director of Super Yacht Division & Charter, and his team. Allied Marine continues to grow, with brokerage and charter presence at our new locations at Miami Beach Marina in Miami, Huntington, New York, Newport Beach, California, and Mexico City. These new locations were designed to maximize our local presence and ultimately be convenient to host our customers and partners. We also are growing technologically with the goal of eventually becoming a paperless company, as well as keeping up with new marketing paradigms daily. Recently, we added the “YachtCloser” online system whereby our brokers and their customers can sign agreements electronically, finalizing deals with the convenience of a few “clicks”…from anywhere in the world! This is just one more step in our ongoing evolution toward providing you with the best possible customer service! Allied Marine is on track to enjoy over 30% growth in year-over-year sales due to great customer loyalty and aggressive growth initiatives.
