KUDOS CHALLENGE The Kudos Challenge is a feel good campaign that aims to address the everyday issue of bullying and belittling others by encouraging people to spread kindness and positivity. The purpose of this campaign is to create an Online community that promotes a feel good attitude and spreads kindness by encouraging individuals to give compliments or even to just make more of an effort to say something that will make someone smile. The power words makes an entire difference in a person’s day, and offering heartfelt, sincere compliments is one of the best ways to accomplish that. #KudosChallenge

FACEBOOK Post 2-3 times per day about ‘Kudos Challenge’ objectives, feel good text, images and more. Through the use of facebook we aim to keep our audience engaged and to feel part of an online community. The compliment generator will be accessed through this page and it will also repost statuses and images found under the #kudoschallenge hashtag filter. The facebook cover photo is a direct link to the App store where the Kudos Challenge app can be downloaded onto an Apple device.

INSTAGRAM The Kudos challenge instagram page will be full of feel good imagery and text, as well as instaposts that were hashtagged with the #Kudoschallenge hashtag. We are hoping that individuals who are making an effort to stay on top of the challenge will post feel good instagram photos that we will repost to share how the experience of making people smile made them feel. Sponsored post will be also used on instagram (just like facebook).


KUDOS APP The Kudos Challenge app will be a focal part of the campaign. The app will be clean, user friendly and informative; and will have a compliment generator where they can send compliments to their friends and family. it will also encourage our target market to complete the challenge with daily reminders and feel good notifications. For example, 5 days into the challenge this notification might appear on your home screen‌ “Hello [name], I hope you’re feeling super sparkly inside today, why not try spread that happiness to the first 3 people you meet today? The app will be connected with the social media outlets and also support the online commuity.




RESPONSIVE WEBSITE The website is the key tool in carrying on the communication with customers and potential customers on the internet. This will be the main hub for central information. The Kudos website will have all social media links, including any events that are advertised on our social media channels, will be further elaborated on here, e.g. “to find out more, visit www. kudoschallenge.com.au�. It will have a compliment generator which the user can share on their friends facebook page or email. Lastly, the user will have the option to create their own post card which will then be delivered to their friend in the mail.



Campaign Merchandise Kudos Challenge merchandise can be purchased on the website but is also given out to individuals who participate in the live event activities in a gift bag style. The goodie bag will contain A3 posters that can be used in any location, a T-shirt, Stickers and a ready made card and envelope with space to write a lovely personal message to a friend.




FESTIVAL EXPOSURE Splendour in the Grass and Falls festival (both in Byron Bay) are annual festivals that bring over 45,000 young adults together to celebrate good music, art and culture. Most festival goers are there for a good time, and there are generally positive vibes all round ( which is amazing!) We want to set up a small stall that will be giving away hand held signs that people can either write something nice on or take one of the already printed ones to hold up to strangers they walk past around the festival. We will also have a photographer there on the day taking a photograph of friends together holding up their kind words, which will eventually be posted on our facebook and if the festival goers write down their name and email, we can tag them in the photo and email them a link to our app! The aim is for these photos to be shared on facebook and instagram as most people enjoy taking photos of their time at festivals (but this time our lovely signs will be in the shot!)



Giving a compliment often triggers the receiver to also spread kindness in some form.


OUTDOOR ADVERTISING The Kudos Challenge outdoor adveritisng will include posters, billboards, banners and advertiements on buses. the advertisements will be strategically placed in school areas such as bus stops, school buses and throughout popular driving routes. Teenagers, parents, public transport commutors and the general public in whole will be exposed to the campaign on a regular basis.
