Exercises are adapted for individuals needing improvement in balance and strength, who may have limited mobility, and/or difficulty standing for long periods of time. Balance aids will be used. BETTER BONES & BALANCE®: ACCELERATED

Stay fit for life. Achieve full body fitness by strengthening your muscles and conditioning your cardiovascular system. Enjoy a dynamic mix of high intensity cardio intervals, weightlifting, and core strengthening activities. Round out your routine with lower body exercises proven to prevent or minimize bone loss. Improve your balance and coordination, reduce your risk for falls, and see an increase in muscle tone and overall body fitness. This class is designed to keep you upright - no mats. Arthritis Foundation Exercises

Gentle, joint-safe exercises developed specifically by the Arthritis Foundation for people with arthritis or musculoskeletal conditions, fibromyalgia, COPD, or anyone who is recovering from injury with limited or impaired joint mobility. This program will help relieve pain and stiffness, strengthen muscles, and improve balance and mobility. Low-impact exercises are done while sitting and/or standing. Led by an Arthritis Foundation certified instructor. This is a face-to-face class being live streamed to a REMOTE audience via Zoom.

Gentle Yoga

Increase strength, flexibility, and reduce stress while learning techniques to calm your mind and soothe your spirit. Learn yoga poses that develop strength, balance, proper breathing, and relaxation. Students will need a yoga mat and blanket.

Classical Pilates

A system of exercises based upon the teachings of Joseph Pilates. The exercises can be modified so any student is able to achieve the workout. There is a progression of challenge as we introduce new exercises as the body becomes stronger and the mind is more knowledgeable about the correct muscles to be used.

YIN YANG SLOW FLOW YOGA NEW!

Yin Yang Slow Flow Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice. Yin yoga is slow, calming, and poses are held for a longer period of time which works on the deeper connective tissues and joints in the body. Yangstyle yoga develops muscular strength, stamina, and flexibility During each class, we will breathe and move together and conclude with a short reflection on the yama/niyama of the week. Take home resources will be provided for diving deeper and expanding your practice at home.

YOGA @ LUNCH

Vinyasa Flow is based on flowing, dynamic sequence of movements which are synchronized with the breath and also includes static postures, balances, and stretches. Increase strength, flexibility, and endurance while improving circulation, balance, and alignment/ posture. Relax your mind, body, and soul. All levels welcome.

CLASSICAL PILATES-INTERMEDIATE

The intermediate Classical Pilates class incorporates a system of exercises based upon the teachings of Joseph Pilates. Exercises are geared towards a full body workout and are designed to strengthen mind and body by working them in tandem. This class is for individuals seeking challenge beyond the fundamentals.

Pilates Combo

Pilates is a series of low-impact exercises that concentrates on building strong abdominal muscles, which improves balance and coordination. This Pilates Combo format involves toning with light weights, balancing, and mat workout using a combination of yoga and pilates moves.

Adaptive Pilates

Improvised chair exercises adapted to improve core strength, flexibility, and functional movement by using Pilates principles for overall health.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a form of movement, meditation, and martial art that originated in China. Promotes relaxation, relief from stress, and improved general well-being by practicing mind/body harmony and cultivating internal energy or “chi”.

ACTIVATED ASANA NEW!

Grounded in current movement science principles, we begin with laying the foundation of research supporting this high-performance aging series. After that we’ll practice an Activated Asana yoga sequence designed to challenge your body in the most important ways – helping you maintain a healthy, vital, independent lifestyle well into your later years.

This program will help relieve stiffness, strengthen muscles, improve balance, and decrease arthritis pain. Low-impact exercises can be done while sitting or standing.

ZUMBA® GOLD

A dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness program perfect for active older adults or beginning participants who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lowerintensity. It is designed to introduce easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion, and coordination.

Early Morning Fitness

Join this class for early risers! Includes warm up activities, stretching, flexibility, easy cardio, and strength training with light hand weights, resistance ropes, and physioballs. Physical limitations? No problem, we can accommodate all!

Ballet Core

A combination of ballet, stretching, and core work to develop strength, flexibility, and balance. Ballet Core involves ballet exercises at the barre, core strengthening workouts, and stretching, as well as routines in the center to develop a range of skills. The use of light weights throughout the class creates an additional challenge and adds to the goal of achieving a full body workout. No previous dance experience required.

CARDIO DANCE & STRENGTH NEW!

Cardio Dance & Strength is a one-hour fitness class that combines the cardio workout, movements and fun of cardio dance, with light weights and full body strength and conditioning movements. Students will follow along with choreographed routines and get a full body and cardio workout.

FREESTYLE DANCING & SINGING

STRENGTH & TONE

Improve your endurance and clear your mind with this workout program designed to tone and strengthen all major muscle groups of the body. Benches, bands, and weights will be utilized for added resistance. Outcomes of the course are to develop total body tone, including strengthening and firming of stomach, legs, hips, thighs, arms, and upper body.

ZUMBA®

Zumba® is a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness program featuring easy to follow, low-impact aerobic/ fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms. Latin and international dance music create fun and even party-like classes. Achieve long term goals and benefits of improved agility, flexibility, cardio, and muscular strength. Join the fun and feel the beat!

In this class tailored to the more mature adult, we will focus our awareness on our own bodies’ needs and abilities, learning to move our bodies and voices in new ways through song and dance. Participants will explore the personal ways that they express themselves to joyful, upbeat, and relaxing music by focusing on releasing held back energy, creating space to rejuvenate, and find joy in their own bodies. Self-awareness and meditation exercises will also broaden participant perception.
