Asl Conversational Ii

ASL Conversational II is a sequence course after ASL Conversational I. This course continues an understanding of basic ASL and its grammatical structures. This course gives opportunities for students to learn and practice ASL vocabulary and conversation. Deaf culture concepts will be expounded upon. CANTONESE FOR BEGINNERS

Cantonese For Beginners is designed to familiarize the student with the use of daily expression with basic vocabulary and grammar points. Language structure will be introduced through life-like dialogues and learning will be reinforced by listening and speaking. Students will also learn more about Chinese culture.

MANDARIN FOR BEGINNERS

This is an introduction to Mandarin Chinese, the official language of China. Basic language skills will be developed while focusing on basic words and conversational skills based on HSK1. Students will also be introduced to the 50 characters of Mandarin.

INTERMEDIATE MANDARIN

Intermediate Mandarin Chinese class is designed for students interested in learning the language and have some Mandarin Chinese experience. Students will build upon basic skills in listening, speaking, and some writing while being equipped with tools to formulate simple common expressions on their own.

LEARN AMERICAN ENGLISH: BEYOND BASICS

For intermediate level and advanced English learners who would like to rapidly improve their speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills.

Beginning Guitar

Intermediate Guitar

Students of guitar who have had beginners-level guitar lessons will learn the essentials needed to advance their playing by exploring the entire fret board, learning new chord shapes (including an introduction to the CAGED system), scales (including blues, major, and pentatonic), learn to play popular songs, and learn how to jam!

Ukulele Basics

Explore music with the small, but mighty, ukulele. The course will cover a lot of ground--starting with holding and tuning the instrument, and will touch on beginning note-reading, chordstrumming, and learning simple songs.
