ABOUT: In contrast to the sharp lines of the Modernist period and distinct Art Deco design elements, CALLOWAY opens the door to a new organic, nature-inspired design direction. It's softer lines and flowing all over design are detailed by a subtly printed rustic background that enhances the loosely drawn florals. The Trend: Velvet & velour continue to be a comforting, glamorous, and nostalgic trend element moving forward into 2021/2022. Its plush hand and lustrous pile can apply to several key design trends. From 70's disco glam, nostalgic dinning spaces, renaissance bedrooms with upholstered beds, luxurious bedding that add comfort and coziness to minimalist designs use "plush" to add dimension and warmth.
WHAT IS A KNIT VELVET? Knit velvet, also referred to as velour is known for its visually rich pile and buttery soft hand. Velours are "woven" by knitting the yarns into loops, then these loops "tops" are cut off, allowing the yarns to bloom. The finishing process includes brushing and heat-setting. These processes determine the final pile height, sheen and, hand. Knit velvets/velours are usually unbacked and drape beautifully.

WHAT IS A KNIT VELVET? Knit velvet, is also referred to as velour is known for its visually rich pile and buttery soft hand. Velours are "woven" by knitting the yarns into loops, then these loops "tops" are cut off, allowing the yarns to bloom. The finishing process includes brushing and heat-setting. These processes determine the final pile height, sheen and, hand. Knit velvets/velours are usually unbacked and drape beautifully.
