Who are you?
My name is Spencer Kane. I’m an 18 year old Pop R&B Artist and actor.
What do you do?
I write and record original positive Pop R&B music and also am a regular on the TV sitcom “iShine Knect” and recently added two feature films to my acting credits this year (“Camp Cool Kids” - as myself and “God’s Not Dead 2” as a high school student in the story. Both release in theaters in 2016) I also tour nationally and work hard to establish myself as a professional artist and actor.
What’s the best thing about what you do?
Creating new music and performing live are the most fun. But I’d say hearing feedback from fans around the world who share stories about how my music or lifestyle inspires them to be closer to God or to make better personal choices. That’s the part that is most humbling and exciting.
Most embarrassing moment in the world ever?
Probably when I was younger at a school dance and asked a girl to dance with me and she said no in front of a bunch of people.
What’s your favourite ever food?
Right now it’s Chipotle Chicken Burrito, but probably Chicken Alfredo or tacos.
Spencer, you write your owns songs. Do you have a favourite song? Or a song that is special to you?
I’ve written all but like 3 of my songs. My favorite right now is RUNWAY because it is a reminder of how hard it is to not be anxious and just trust God and let him pilot my life. The lyrics are just very connected to my life situation even today.
How do you start to write a song about God?
I don’t really think of song writing that way. I don’t sit down to write music or lyrics “about” God. Instead, I write what I believe inspires me at the time and it always is based on my faith walk and Christian views. I don’t write praise and worship music, so I’m more about writing things that affect teens and young adults.

I’m working on my third studio project this summer and fall. Hopefully will have new music coming out early 2016.
Who are some of the most amazing people you have worked with?
I have loved working with a lot of people along the way for different reasons. Some have fun personalities, some have amazing musical talent, and some are just amazing mentors. It would be unfair to list a favorite, but Chuck Butler, Jeff Savage, Zach Hall, Avery Berman, Jor’Dan Armstrong are just a few great producers and mentors and artists.

S CHRISTMSTA ORY In the days of Herod the King, in the town of Nazareth, there lived a young woman named Mary. She was going to marry a carpenter, whose name was Joseph. Now the angel Gabriel was sent from God to Nazareth, to the house where Mary lived. And the angel said,
“Hello, Mary! Blessed are you among women, for God has chosen you to be the mother of his Son. You shall give birth to a baby boy, and he shall be called Jesus.” And Mary said, “Let what you have said be done.” And the angel left. Now, while Mary was waiting for her child to be born, an order went out for every person to return to the town of his birth, so that a count could be made of all the people in the land. And Joseph and Mary left Nazareth together to go to Bethlehem, where Joseph was born. When they reached Bethlehem, Mary knew it was time for the baby to be born. But the town was filled with people and there was no room for them at the inn. So the innkeeper led them to his stable. And there Mary gave birth to her son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes. She laid him in a manger, with the ox and the ass standing by. Now there were some shepherds in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks by night. And the angel of the Lord appeared before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around. The shepherds crouched, trembling among their sheep, but the angel said to them:
“Don’t be afraid, I bring you good news! Today in Bethlehem a child is born and he is Christ the Lord. This is a sign to you, that you will find the baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”

LISTEN TO THIS BIBLE STORY at www.allstarskidsclub.com/listen And a lot of other angels appeared and began praising God and singing; “Glory to God in the highest and peace on earth, goodwill to all men.” The shepherds left their flocks and hurried to the stable; and when they found Mary and Joseph and the baby lying in the manger, they knelt before him and worshipped him. Then they returned home, praising God for all that they had seen, and all the people who heard them hastened to Bethlehem to see the baby for themselves. There came also three wise men from the East, who had seen a bright light in the skies. Bearing gifts, they travelled far across seas and mountains, until they reached the city of Jerusalem.
“Where is the baby who is born to be king?” they asked, “We have seen his star in the east, and have come to worship.” Now King Herod was troubled when he heard of this other King, more powerful than himself. And he sent for the wise men saying: “Go and search for the child and return once you have found him, so that I too may come and worship him.” But the King meant to kill Jesus. The star shone bright in the skies, guiding the wise men onwards, till it lead them to Bethlehem, and the stable where the baby lay. And when they found the baby with Mary, his mother, the wise men laid their gifts before him and worshipped him. Then they opened up their treasures for the baby - gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. But being warned by God in a dream not to return to King Herod, they departed to their own country by another way. In time Joseph took Mary and the baby Jesus home to Nazareth, and the baby grew tall and strong: and the grace of God was upon him.

Part of the Brassica family, its close relations include the more popular cabbage, broccoli and kale. In December, a UK supermarket chain sells about 650 tonnes of sprouts each week. That’s heavier than a big A380 Airbus Airplane. Most people think that all sprouts look the same, but there are actually over 50 varieties of the mini green cabbages to avoid if you’re not a fan. The freshest sprouts are green with a white base. If they are slightly yellow or brown it means they’re getting old. Overcooking sprouts makes them smell like rotten eggs.

My name is Funny Man Dan or FMD. A lot of people want to know if my real name is Dan and it is. My father’s favourite joke is to tell people he is Mr Man Dan..... Funny’s Dad. Got to love a Dad Joke. What do you do?
I am a Kids Comedian/Entertainer/Writer/Hair Stylist (I made that last one up). I have been performing my comedy acts for the kids at my Hillsong Church for over 12 years. I also write and act in a TV Style kids show for churches called Hillsong Big. That is a lot of fun as one minute we can be talking at a table and the next we can be super spy’s in space. I once even got to act in a video where I played all the characters including an talk show host, the director, the makeup artist, the stage hand and even my Mum!!!!! What’s the best thing about what you do?
I get to make kids laugh. Laughing is my favourite thing to do in the whole wide world and I try and share that with as many kids as I can. Even when things go wrong I enjoy it. One time I was standing on a barrel about to do a trick and I said ‘One, two, thr........’ and the barrel broke and I fell to the ground. Everybody couldn’t stop laughing including me. 5 things you couldn’t live without?

My favourite healthy food is Oatmeal/Porridge with fresh strawberries. My favourite not healthy food is also strawberries............. except covered in melted chocolate fondue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also dip in bananas, cherries and even sometimes lollies like Red Frogs. For the best chocolate fondue you must choose Cadbury Original Dairy Milk.

This is one of my favourite verses because it gives us the permission to be awesome. You don’t have to worry about being a show off, if you have the right attitude people will see you and then praise not you but God for the gifts He gave you.

Christmas Gingerbread Men Here’s what to do...

2 cups flou soda ½ tsp baking d Ginger 1 Tbsp Groun ugar Soft Brown S 1 cup (220g) 150g butter 1 egg, beaten ugar ½ cup Icing S

Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 2 baking trays with some baking paper.
Sift the flour, baking soda and ground ginger together and place in a mixing bowl.
Add some Soft Brown Sugar and add the butter.
Rub in the butter with your fingertips until it looks and feels like fine breadcrumbs.

Add the egg and stir it into a dough. Cover the top with cling film and then pop it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Get the mixture out of the fridge and roll it out onto a lightly floured surface until it’s about 5mm thick. Using cookie or shape cutters, cut shapes and place them on a tray.
Bake your gingerbread men for 8-10 minutes or until cooked and looking nice and golden. Remove from the oven and cool on baking rack. While they’re cooling, make some cool icing by adding a few drops of food colouring and 1 1⁄2 tsp of water to the icing sugar. Add a happy face, buttons and patterns to make them look awesome and Christmassy!
