What Working Women Need @ Esplanade Park 10 MAR 2012
Participants of the Happiness Fun Walk geared up for a day of fun in the sun.
To celebrate International Women’s Day (which falls on 8 March) NTUC Women’s Development Secretariat ! Striking a pose organised a Happiness Fun Walk to spread the message on the needs of the modern working women. The event saw 2,000 union members, women job-‐seekers and their families congregate at the Esplanade Park for a day of fun. The event also featured an employment preview specially targeted at female job-‐ seekers with more than 800 vacancies from 10 employers.
50plus Expo @ Singapore Expo 23-25 MAR 2012 From spiritual wellness to intellectual wellness, 147 exhibitors shared insights on healthy ageing for mind and body at the 50plus Expo 2012. With the aim of promoting active ageing, healthcare providers as well as organisations held talks and demonstrations that run the gamut from volunteering for seniors to staying fit the right way and TCM dos and don’ts.
