About Me My passion for architecture & design has lead me to develop strong conceptual skills, which play a big role in developing and managing projects. I am enthusiastic for design-driven innovation creating products and services, that are so distinct from those that dominate the market that make people passionate. I incorporate my marketing and branding experience to successfully create brand awareness. This mix ensures I am able to meet the expectations of my superior’s and exceed those of the client. Having a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of learning and working ensures I continuously and consciously develop as a designer.

THE BREWERY SAN MIFUEL DE ALLENDE, GTO The transformation of buildings into an activity is an inherent process in the evolution and transformation of cities. Re-enable architecture is creating new dynamics of use from what existed before by using the present structure, demonstrating their skills and empowering them, keeping them current and useful over time through a dialogue between memory and reality that can renew.

Eckerd Arts Center The design for the new Visual Arts Center evolved from the unique nature of the arts program as well as the characteristics of the site and climate. Serving as a connection to other performing arts facilities, the building is carefully nestled into the site and its shape takes maximum advantage of the views to ponds and preserves. The center is

organized into distinctive, yet interconnected pieces. The building contains studios for faculty, “clean” studios for 2-D art and galleries, and “dirty” studios for 3-D fabrications. The building reflects Eckerd’s motto of “think outside” and accommodates their vision for an open and flexible 21st century art school.

Beach House

T

he house creates feelings of ultimate relaxation and privacy, whilst its contemporary design juxtaposes superbly with its beautifully rural location, on the south coast of Taiwan. The site is divided in 2 land plots join with a floating courtyard. Generating two volumes a one private and one public. White boxes, sat on top of the axi-

al walls, gives the upper sleeping floor a light weight image and appears to be floating above the stone axes. It contains one mezzanine bedroom, in each volume all with large glazed areas. The ground floor living areas, nestled under the box and formed by the axis, are enclosed with large sliding glazed panels that provide a seam-

less link between the internal and external. The terrace further accentuates this, with the use of a single style of floor tile inside, that extends outside through flush thresholds to really give a true sense of ‘inside/outside living’.

Steel, glass, concrete, ceramic and wood are left exposed and unadorned. Every piece records the construction of the house and is essential to the concept. The house is lucid and laconic. The north deck opens to the east and

west allowing afternoon sun to penetrate the living areas. The open plan living areas under the gable roof have porch enclosures to north and east that frame views. The client owns an extensive collection

of books, so he requested that we create this the house with the maximum capacity for its storage and exhibition. Making the staircase a design feature.
