Hello
Working on our Modern Style issue is very poignant and somewhat close to my heart as Roy and I are in the early stages of planning the build of our family home.
As I write, Roy is on the land with his machete, pairing down some of the vegetation to get a good look at where the house could be positioned. It’s a time filled with excitement and long nights spent on Pinterest!

With the same amount of excitement we present two gorgeous homes, each very different in their modern features.
Our Exclusive Cover Feature property is the spectacular luxury vacation villa, St. Bernard’s Hill House on Tortola’s West End that has undergone a gorgeous interior modernisation - we are honoured to show you the big reveal starting on page 20.
We travel to Oil Nut Bay to view Constellations, a new build completed towards the end of 2022. Find out why this modern Estate pushes the boundaries of architecture and design in the neighbourhood - turn to page 32 to read the full story.
Our friends Andrew Montgomery and Steven Townsend of boutique architecture and design firm M+T AD talk to us about their early beginnings, design philosophies and a selection of their projects on page 42.
Living on a small island in the Caribbean naturally creates a casual approach to security. We meet Leon George, a decorated former US Marine and the brains behind FLR Enterprises - the BVI’s full-service security company, about why it’s important to prioritise your personal, commercial and home security - see page 48.
In our sailing chapter, we give you a personal tour of the sleek, modern and luxurious VOYAGE 650 Power Catamaran. The team also gives us the lowdown on their brand new private crewed yacht charter packages. For all the details turn to page 54.
For our foodie friends, our Delish feature gives you some delicious ideas for breakfast at home with all the trimmings. Yum!
Enjoy this issue, dear readers.
PS. We made an error in our March/April issue
“Outer Banks - Authentic Caribbean Charm Revitalised” Exclusive Cover Feature.
Debi Carson was the Interior Architect who worked on the two-year 2014 renovation project. We sincerely apologise to both Debi and Victoria Bezemer for the oversight.
