Alpaca Camélido habitante de los Andes peruanos, posee la fibra con la mayor variedad cromática que existe en el mundo del tejido, va del blanco hasta el negro, pasando por castaños y grises. Esta cualidad sumada a su calidez y suavidad, fueron inspiración y base para el desarrollo textil andino, en especial Incaico. This camelid roams the Peruvian Andes and boasts the longest fiber with the widest color range in the world of textiles. Colors range from white to black, with innumerable shades of browns and grays. Wool has numerous properties. This fiber comes from the spotless white top coat of the merino lamb and is one of the most versatile, well-known and marketed fibers world-wide.
