ALPEREN ASIM AKBAĹž Architect Hello ! My name is Alperen, born 29 November 1996.I am 23 years old. My passionate about architecture is rising day by day. The more I work, the more I want to learn. Architecture is not just a building, it is more than that. City, art , street, square, land, sea, ocean, shortly architecture is harmony of natural and non-natural things. To learn different aspects of design, to explore the world, material, culture and connections there is a big enthusiasm inside of me. Also day by day i am improving my perspective and work quality. For that I present this collection of my works. Enjoy ! alperenakbaas@gmail.com +905422911996 29 Nov. 1996

Tophane, one of the old districts of Istanbul, has lost its importance on the scale of the city. To list the main reasons; The change in the function of the area, to be condemned to the cramped urban fabric, we can show the clashes of people, workers and tourists. Â Â Â Consensus has become a place where people from all segments of the region can find activities according to their wishes. It allowed people to breathe by opening openings rather than imprisoning people between the cramped urban fabric. A new and alternative socio-cultural center was created.

The project which is located on the topographical nose provides different perspective to land’s upper and bottom side. For reach the Project site there is a 2 entrance gate;where Project meets with human, it means two types of different feeling, impression, expectation. Project inspired by the it’s context and program : Plant Lab. The word “plant” is ethymologically is start with a living organism. Living is changing, moving, breathing, feeling etc. So if we connect this with human we encounter that human should move, breathe, feel, think. In this project the inspring point is that where human meets with nature.

IDYLLIC 1: pleasing or picturesque in natural simplicity 2: of, relating to, or being an idyll

If you want the feel the nature you should accept nature with all of it’s aspects. You can put some cantilever but isn’t it blocking of nature ? The idea of seperating the functions comes from feeling nature. The auditorium uses a rich visual and tactile environment to stimulate the mind and body to strengthen connections back to the natural world, while accommodating the needs.

The aim is to restore the singularized area to the old building texture to a certain extent. While doing this, it is the road map that has been followed to increase the functionality of the region. A new site plan has been proposed in the region. Rather than addressing the region only in one way, it is considered as a whole. The meeting occurs at such a point. Actually, it is a formation that will meet the public with water, meet public needs, and has various functions. Although the building is a meeting point for people, the building itself becomes one of the points where the Thursday market meets and comes into contact with the water, just as the building was adjacent to the shoreline in the past. While doing this, it moves in harmony with the silhouette.

BULUSMA 1 : the act of coming together: 2 : an assembly or conference of persons for a specific purpose: 3 : the body of persons present at an assembly or conference:

Academic Work Tutor : BĂźnyamin Derman Year : 2019 / Semester 7 Location : Istanbul,Turkey

Masterplan. If we list some of the characteristic features of the region; The walls of the galata, its estuary is coastal, it contains historical artifacts, its relationship with the silhouette of Istanbul on the opposite side, and the relationship it establishes with the silhouette.

23

Exterior Perspective.

Besides these, the reasons of the region’s gradual detachment from the old value and importance; mis-planning, lack of use between day and night, cuts along the coastline, assigning individual functions, maintenance of the regional building stock.

24

Ground Plan.

Sections.

25

Isometric View.

As the coastal arrangement is increasingly made at large scales, a continuous connection axis is recommended at the estuary. In this way, the entire estuary will be perceived as a whole and the necessary link between regions will be established. 26

In this project the inspring point is that where human meets with nature. If you want the feel the nature you should accept nature with all of it’s aspects. Idea of grid comes from topography. If we want to hug and experience the nature we should listen what it’s tell us. That is why topographical lines turned into curved grids. After that divided them with perpendicular corridors for circulation. The idea of seperating the functions comes from feeling nature. The reclusive spaces have a rich visual and tactile environment to stimulate the mind and body to strengthen connections back to the natural world, while accommodating the needs. The curve idea come up with the slope of the topography . When you circulate the building this curve accompanies to you. After years of civil war in Syria, it has jointly taken its mission to remove the wounds of the war. It acts jointly as a “regional school in contrast to other patterns. Rather than performing architectural education, training and production by certain groups, a model was envisaged that the participants and users of the place would have a say. In addition, architecture offices from different parts of the world jointly participate as seasonal guests. However, it is aimed that students gain different working practices and see different fictions in the construction of Aleppo. It was jointly designed by Aleppo for Aleppo to revive the old spirit for Aleppo. There are places for mutual exchange of ideas in architectural fictions realized at various points of the city.

ORTAKLASA 1. Concerning more than one person or object at the same time, consisting of their participation, which is their property. 2. As partners, jointly.

Exterior Perspective.

The area was designed as a variable space and opened it to different constructions. Workshops are the production center of the people of the region rather than just the areas where students provide production.

Holes are formed towards the center in the plane of the roof thanks to the conical columns on the top of the public workshop and community center. In this way, rain water was stored and collected in water tanks located below the columns. Additionally, a gray water treatment system is used. The water problem of the region and OrtakalaĹ&#x;a has been fixed.

Abluka; It is an architectural structure that aims to make the problems of Istanbul visible. It identifies the needs of Istanbul and settles at problematic points. It acts as a communication bridge between the city residents and that place and enables them to understand each other better. The form he creates while settling changes in line with the location and the problem that exists in that place. The movement of the structure is provided by a large number of drones that are specialized for the Abluka. Team : Alperen Asım Akbaş, Devrim Nasmir, Gökalp Kumdakcı, Tahircan Yarımoğlu.
