Under School Regulations 1959 the legal entitlement for holidays to be taken in term time is a maximum of two weeks per school year. We prefer that parents take their annual holidays during school closure periods. This is particularly important for pupils in Year 10, 11, 12 and 13 who are studying for external examinations and doing coursework.
