Identification badge policy Sixth Form students are all issued with identity badges. These badges contain a chip which allows students to come in and out of school during the school day through the electronically operated gates and also allows access to the Sixth Form Work Area. It allows Sixth Form students to have similar access as staff to the school. All Sixth Form students need to visibly wear their badges as part of the new security arrangements in the school. If a student does not bring their id badge to school they need to see Mrs Mahoney in the Cover office on arrival to request a temporary id badge for the day. Id badges cost ÂŁ2.50 to produce and therefore if students misplace them they will need to refund the school accordingly.
