The Asian Law Students' Association (ALSA) is an organization of law students in Asia, one of which is the ALSA National Chapter Indonesia. ALSA National Chapter Indonesia accommodates 14 (fourteen) Local Chapters under the best universities from all over Indonesia. ALSA is a dynamic organization full of solidarity from all parties by always prioritizing improving the quality of legal scientists from each member. ALSA National Chapter Indonesia has become one of the leading student organizations in Indonesia, with a lot of help and support from various parties. Welcome and enjoy reading the Organizational Profile of ALSA LC Unsri. The Asian Law Students' Association Local Chapter of Sriwijaya University (ALSA LC Unsri) is an Asian law student organization based at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sriwijaya. Founded on March 21, 2001, ALSA LC Unsri has made many active contributions and impacted society, initiated by Dr. Mada Apriandi Zuhir, S.H., M.CL. and Mrs. Dr. Meria Utama S.H., L.L.M. in 1999 at the ASEAN level ALSA regional conference held at the Universitas Indonesia. For more than two decades, ALSA LC Unsri has been established, and many achievements and also active contributions to society have been poured out. We also always want to improve performance and sales value at the local, national and international levels. Has a vision of realizing the ALSA Local Chapter of Universitas Sriwijaya, which is active, educative, creative, competitive and beneficial to society. With this big vision, supported by the four pillars of ALSA, namely, Internationally Minded, Academically Committed, Legally Skilled and Socially Responsible, ALSA LC Unsri has become a progressive and competitive Local Chapter. This has also become a selling point for expanding and optimizing cooperation between ALSA LC Unsri and external parties. The Forerunner ALSA LC Unsri began after realizing the importance of establishing a legal perception among ASEAN countries. As a result, the Faculty of Law at Universitas Sriwijaya (Unsri) accepted an invitation to attend the ASEAN-level ALSA Regional Conference in 1999, which was held at the Universitas Indonesia (UI) in, Jakarta Indonesia. As a result, Universitas Sriwijaya has sent two representatives from the Faculty of Law Universitas Sriwijaya, XXXX Dr. Mada Apriandi Zuhir, S.H., M.CL., and Dr. Meria Utama, S.H., L.L.M., as well as the initiator of the establishment of ALSA LC Unsri. Universitas Sriwijaya was officially appointed as the Local Indonesia committee at the Musyawarah Nasional VIII ALSA in Universitas Padjajaran (Unpad) on March 21st, 2001. ALSA LC Unsri currently remains progressive and in high demand among law students, and it continues to improve the quality of members and alumni.

ALSA LC Unsri always has a work program which is an annual activity towards progressiveness and guidance for the development of members and the general society.
Pengenalan dan Penerimaan Partisipan Anngota Baru (P3AB) ALSA LC Unsri was held for one day online. The agenda is the introduction of ALSA Indonesia, followed by the ALSA LC Unsri, the continued introduction of the Local Board, and duties and functions.
Organizing, Leadership, and Management of ALSA (OLMA) is an annual work program to accept new members of ALSA LC Unsri. The implementation of OLMA aims to develop the commitment and leadership spirit of new ALSA LC Unsri members.
Parental Socialization (PS) was held to socialize ALSA to parents of new ALSA LC Unsri members, and parents who attended this activity intended to introduce ALSA more deeply. Therefore, parents of new members of ALSA LC Unsri can support their children to be active.
ALSA Legal Visit was held with one of the objectives of introducing ALSA LC Unsri to various agencies, the purpose of maintaining the ALSA Legal Visit was to increase the name Faculty of Law, Universitas Sriwijaya, at the national level. ALSA Legal Visit is one of the Signature Programs of ALSA LC Unsri's External Affairs program.
English Competition (E-Comp) is an annual English competition held by ALSA LC Unsri. E-Comp aims to develop English language skills for the participants.
ALSA Care & Legal Coaching Clinic (CLCC) is a derivative work program based on the ALSA pillars, namely "Legally Skilled" and "Socially Responsible " This work program provides humanitarian values and legal socialization to society as a form of strengthening the social impact of ALSA.

ALSA English Camp (E-Camp) is conducted to develop the English skills of ALSA LC Unsri members, and this activity also provides tips and tricks before doing the TOEFL questions With the theme "camping" in this activity, registered members will learn English for one day and one night.
The ALSA Mooting Class is conducted to provide participants with an exploration of knowledge to understand the duties and authorities of law enforcement in the judiciary and know the process and procedures for a meeting. ALSA Mooting Class is an activity that aims to train members' skills as law students.
ALSA Legal Training & Workshop (ALTW) is an activity that is closely oriented with two pillars of Alsa, namely "Academically Committed" and "Legally Skilled." In contrast, this activity consists of seminars and workshops. During the seminar, several speakers will be present. Furthermore, in the workshop section, the participants will be trained in legal skills.

I compliment the academic activities organized by ALSA like this, students carry out activities that can support academic activities, not just lectures in general. But here, ALSA can bring in speakers with different backgrounds and perspectives so that students can obtain various information related to understanding an issue. I appreciate ALSA
ALSA is good. ALSA has shown the ability of the younger generation to move forward. I have accompanied ALSA in a moot court, and I think that the quality of the members who have joined ALSA has shown achievement in the academic field.
I am proud that ALSA is active as to be an active organization at the dedicated public level. What is clear is that ALSA is a forum for students to understand more about law, establish close relationships among fellow law students throughout Indonesia and provide benefits to ALSA members and the community, and ALSA contributes to current issues.
ALSA was not only a student organization but a place of "growing up" to become a reliable law scholar. Through ALSA, I have developed intrapersonal and interpersonal skills that are invaluable to a professional career. More than that, I gained deep insights into law practice and a broad network of associates from Indonesia. I'm proud to be a part of ALSA. ALSA, Always be One!
