After some cosmetic changes , our downhill monster is back on track. lowered center of gravity, thanks to dropthru tracks provides stability while speeding whereas deep concave will literally glue your feet to the board when sliding. Control over your board at higher speeds will be much easier now due to lighter deck weight.

TECHNOLOGY HPL ( Hot Pressure Lamination ) - A technology of board pressing in increased temperature. Increased temperature improves mechanical properties and an even pressing spreads the resin precisely and removes its excess. Thanks to HPL technology you can forget about board delaminating. V-Techology – This is a way of joining different types of timber in the core. A special profile increases strength and benefits a better balance of forces acting on welds, which will significantly prolong the core durability.

Epoxy bubble - As you can’t imagine coke without bubbles we can’t imagine our decks without glass marbles . Higher exhaustion resistance and longer life-expectancy speaks for themselves.

X-Technology - Two intersecting layers of carbon fibers under the board’s core whose placement and geometry create a stiff framework, which will increase Torsion flex. This solution makes it easier to move your energy better while taking narrow turns and consequently facilitates the slides significantly. Carbon Spine - Wide and thick carbon belt which makes the board stiff. Carbon fiber makes the board base - similarly to a spine in a human body, additional advantage-suppresses vibration and gives faster board reaction.

Composite – The boards are reinforced with an epoxide-glass composite. The glass, which acts as reinforcement, has a special fiber setting and weight which makes it possible to bear all the loadings. Core – Made from specially prepared timber which, after being cut, goes through a slow seasoning process that improves its strength and flexibility. Next, with the use of V-technology, the cores are glued. Each core undergoes primary tests. Paying attention to all the details lets us gain the core which in the future will certainly become the heart of our boards.


CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES Epoxy Inside - The boards (except the core) are all glued with epoxide resin. This lets us gain strong laminates and durable bonding between particular components.

Veneer – Each sheet undergoes a quality control so as to observe any defects which would influence the board’s properties. Even though the best quality material is always used some parts must often be rejected during a manual selection.

Bulletproof tails - Unfortunately we have lately lost our company’s AK47 and we weren’t able to check how immune our deck to bullets is, we guarantee though that kevlar enhancements will suppress vibrations and increase pop.

Scratch Resistant Graphics - Polymer protective layer will secure your graphics from scratches. 17

CNC Machining – Our boards are cut out with a numerically-controlled machine, which leads to incomparable accuracy comparing to traditional cutting out methods. You can be sure that the holes in the board will be placed in one axle so that your trucks will fit perfectly. Handcrafted in Poland – Every phase of production takes place in Poland,for our boards to have the Slavic soul. Our emloyees are on a special diet - lard, sausages and bigos(polish dish with lots of meat, sausage and cabbage), providing inexhaustible during production process.

3D Kicktail - Anatomical nose and tail providing an ideal placement under the feet.

Radial concave - Delicate concave, ideal for a city gives you a perfect board feeling under the feet while performing slides and cruisings.

Deep concave – Designed for downhill and freeriding. A flat board centre ensures stability of riding in a position, while curled edges make you control your board during the slides.

Twin-tip - A shape designed for freerides and tricks. A switch or regular ride will make no difference.

Camber -For flexy boards, we use a Cambered profile. Camber is a bulge in the arcshaped board. It helps to absorb the energy that is created during the carving and pumping.

Rocker -Lower centre of gravity with more board control, especially for sliding.

„Alternative Longboards” company was established in 2012. Currently it is the best developing longboard brand in Poland due to unique technological solutions. Our passion to board sports made us produce the highest quality longboards. Our main goal is to create a brand which will actively support longboards’ development.

HISTORY

The first prototypes were created in 2011. Since then all the boards have been produced with vertical lamination technology. Desired parameters of particular models have been obtained as a result of machine park development and continuous improvement of production processes. Every board produced by our company had its own prototype and has undergone a series of tests.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

The whole production process is based on the latest methods of designing and manufacturing. All our models are created in 3D environment, which helps us check if a board is compatible with all kinds of trucks and wheels and lets us introduce all necessary changes during early tests.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

Next, on the basis of projects, forms are modeled with the use of CNC machines from our machine park. Material preparation and the whole lamination process are done by hand, from quality inspection to placement of resin and other particular components. The boards are pressed in HPL technology designed by the company itself. Another stage involves cutting out of moulded pieces with the use of CNC machines. Finally, the board’s edges and surface are polished. All the boards always undergo quality control before leaving the workshop.
