Desmet Ballestra High Pressure Pump HPP-STP SERIES Desmet Ballestra High Pressure Pump (HPP) belongs to the last generation of reciprocating positive displacement multi-plungers pump, specifically designed to pump, at high pressure, concentrated slurry and abrasive fluids in surfactants and detergents powder production plants. The High Pressure Pump model takes advantage of the outstanding experience of Desmet Ballestra in the design and supply of tailor-made solutions for the surfactants and detergents industries with installation in hundreds of complete plants and process units. The high-quality material and robust and compact design of the components, suitable for severe operating conditions, provide long lifetime, high efficiency, low maintenance and trouble-free operation. The design of the pump allows easy accessibility to all components without special tools.

Flow Rate Capacity The HPP is designed to cover a wide range of flow rates controlled by variable frequency drive, capable to match any Customers' requirement.
HPP STP SERIES Specifically designed for pumping highly abrasive fluids in detergent industry The pumps feature three or six pumping elements, driven by a crankshaft mechanism provided with forced-type lubrication with independent motor and indirect cooling system to ensure the best operational reliability. Desmet Ballestra HPP is designed for maximum performance and efficiency as well as minimum maintenance cost by means of the following main features: · Plungers in SS 316 hardened by proprietary coating treatment · High precision single valve · Double packing with water flushing system · Monobloc cylinder design for easy and fast accessibility to all internal components · Gear reducer having Agma factor >2 to ensure lower operating temperature with consequent lower wearing and tearing reduction.

DESMET BALLESTRA HPP ACCESSORIES HPP is equipped with the following, factory-installed, accessories: · Safety valve with rupture disc · Pulsation damper · Pressure transmitter · High pressure switch HPP is foreseen for operation via Variable Frequency Driver. HPP can be easily connected and managed by the existing Plant Computer Control System or alternatively, Desmet Ballestra is ready to provide a dedicated Control Local Panel.

SKID MOUNTED SOLUTION Desmet Ballestra has developed a proprietary skid mounted solution fully pre-assembled and tested at workshop, ready for in field start up. The proposed skid includes: · Slurry filtering devices · High shear in-line mixer · High pressure pump and relevant accessories and instruments The proposed solution ensures a constant discharge pressure and a finely dispersed slurry feeding to the spray dryer.
