4. First-aid measures General advice:
Immediately remove from contact. Take off contaminated clothing. Obtain medical attention. Immediately remove to fresh air. If breathing has stopped or is irregular apply artificial respiration and administer oxygen. Wash with soap and water or bland proprietary cleanser. Wash with copious amounts of cold running water. Seek medical assistance. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.

5. Fire-fighting measures In case of fire use dry chemical foam, or carbon dioxide (CO2).
6. Accidental release measures Personal precautions:
Wear protective clothing, eye and hand protection (PVC gloves). Avoid breathing the vapour and ensure there is effective ventilation to prevent a build up of vapour or fumes. Use breathing apparatus when necessary.
Environmental protection:
Prevent entry into watercourses and drains. Immediately contain any inert absorbent material or soil.
Clean-up methods:
Recover all waste material and dispose to local licensed tip according to local authority waste regulations.
Additional advice:
Immediately report any passage to drains or watercourses to the appropriate local water authority.
7. Handling and storage Storage:
Store in a dry, cool area away from sources of ignition. When not in use, keep containers tightly sealed. Examine condition of containers regularly.
Handling:
Use only in well ventilated areas. Avoid breathing in vapours as much as possible. Use gloves as recommended. Handle large containers with care according to good manual handling practices. Prolonged or repeated contact may lead to irreversible effects.

Good industrial hygiene practices are adequate to prevent skin contact. Wear protective clothing.

10. Stability and reactivity Unreactive and stable under normal storage conditions.
11. Toxicological information Short-term exposure to high concentrations of vapours may lead to drowsiness, dizziness, confusion and nausea. Skin contact can be irritating in the short-term, repeated contact may cause determatitis. White Spirit OEL:

12. Ecological information The product is liquid ambient temperature. Avoid contamination of land, watercourses and sewers. It is slowly but ultimately biodegradable.
13. Disposal considerations Absorb in earth or sand and dispose of at an appropriate licensed waste disposal site. Dispose of empty container to an appropriate licensed waste disposal site. Ensure that disposal conforms to national or regional legislation.
