Influenced by feminist criticism, Marta Pujades (1990) explores the processes of the construction of individual, collective, or object identities and how they are channelled by means of visual representations, taking particular interest in the new shifts of portraits. The essence of the image, the glance, perception, and relational experiences come together in her cross-disciplinary projects, which have been exhibited in Germany, Mexico, Israel, and Spain.
