Eligibility
Álvarez-Díaz & Villalón®, a leading, award-winning architecture and interior design firm in Puerto Rico, is seeking semester interns to work with AD&V®’s 3D printing Design Lab Team.
You must be an active university undergrad student with at least one semester of architecture education under your belt.
AD&V® Design Lab is the research and development arm of AD&V®. This job will require working at the firm’s stateof-the-art 3D printing Lab, located at their headquarters in San Juan, PR. 3D printing remains a complex and intimidating process. Our goal at the AD&V® 3D printing Design Lab is to bring this exciting technology to a wide variety of users in the most accessible, friendly, and empowering way possible. As an Intern, and a member of the AD&V® Design Lab Team, you will collaborate with AD&V®’s 3D Lab Specialist in providing support for 3D printing operations such as assisting in creating true-to-scale models, 3D printing, 3D scanning, and laser cutting requests. Your role will help AD&V® curate, generate and organize 3D models highlighting the firm’s design projects.
We are also looking for team players with a positive attitude that is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to take on any challenge, big or small. The ideal candidate should be excited about working in a laboratory environment, has good hands-on skills, and demonstrates attention to detail.

The program length of the internship is flexible, with a minimum of one month.
