Once we arrived, saw a group of sketchers leaning on the bridge already. Unfortunately, they cannot speak english.
Walking Distant to the famous Hermitage Museum Государственный Эрмитаж
We lived very close to this canal, since there is white night till 11:30pm, we can enjoy this picture almost everyday while we were there. We see Russians will stop for a few seconds to make a little prayer all the time. The interior is awesome and super over decorated
This is the most beatiful church in Russia. Your attention will be drawn for sure when you are passing by. I sketched this church by leaning my back on the middle of the foot bridge, so no one can be hang around my back for security reason. The church has too many details, which I still cannot decide how to color it.

Liteyny Bridge, 1982, by Alexander Semionov There are 22 bridges along Neva River, they are all closed during the day, but they will be erected after mid-night to let the big ships in.
A bicyle tour around the city, this bike is so heavy , but the guide did a great job on history and the stories of KGB.
Peterhof Palace
Helsinki Temppeliaukio Church is a Lutheran church in the Töölö neighborhood of Helsinki. The church was designed by architects and brothers Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen and opened in 1969. It is also known as the Church of the Rock.
There are many Churches in the heart of the city in Helsinki. This one is call the Kamppi Chapel of Silence.
Strawberry and greenbeans are selling all over the city, 5 Euros a Litre.
There are so many amazing doorways in Helsinki.
This is the last sketch I did in Finland. Rode a bike along the shore and up to the hill. Uspenski Cathedral, an Eastern Orthodox church in Helsinki.

Moscow’s subway system is one of the earliest in Europe. It’s cost 40 rubles a trip per person, no matter how far you wanna go.

Red Square was closed on the last day. People just lined up.
Finally, it’s the end of the trip. A 10 days short Russian trip surely widen my small eyes, and I am sure I will be back again before I am on wheelchair.
